Words catapulted to fame by the internet

So, you have trouble with calling yourself a straight man, then?

I still have yet to grasp why people have such a problem with a word classifying something. It's just an identifier, nothing more. Normal is too broad a term. The point that is being made is that normal could apply from anything to blonde hair to heterosexuality.

And again, I love pointing out the irony of how people are so irked by this word. Because someone using who you are as an insult encapsulated in one word really must suck. Not that I would know or anything.
Certain demographics have gotten used to not being categorized and being able to consider the default in their society/culture, so they get irked by not being the default. White, straight, etc. It's why this stupid meninist shit has come up; the idea that male isn't a default is for some reason offensive to morons of our gender.

Like when filling out an online form and when you get to the section for country, United States of America isn't the top choice. I mean, the fuck is that shit?

it's really easy for y'all to make those jokes, isn't it
I can make jokes and give a shit. It's nice having more than 1 dimension to a personality; you should try it sometime.[DOUBLEPOST=1424561257,1424561202][/DOUBLEPOST]
I have been a part of the Halforums community since the PVP Forum days, and here is my question:

WHY IN THE DICKING SHIT DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY STILL ARGUE WITH CHARLIE

He may as well be an antagonistic spam bot, or at the very least a bot that identifies the topic and offers the alternative.

To be clear, I have no problem with you at all Charlie, I appreciate a Devil's Advocate, but I honestly don't understand why people still feel the need to defend or persuade against you. :p

Carry on.
Spoilers for Watchmen

Charlie is Ozymandias's creation for our forum, keeping us united.

Having only learned of the word this morning, I can say that I have no feelings what so ever regarding being called that word.

I do get a little torqued when people tell me how I treat other people when they have no actual understanding of my person or my actions towards others.

Consider the source. In CharlieWorld, we're all racist, bigoted hate monsters.

And Osama bin Laden is a victim.

QUIT MAKING ME DEFEND CHARLIE, IT MAKES ME FEEL ALL OOKY INSIDE!

But for reals, did you even read the posts from that thread? There's a HUGE difference between white knighting someone and refusing to dance in the streets over their murder. Besides he started out by commenting on how racist the news is towards non-white people in general and just using the whole Osama thing as an example of one of the few times the news will focus on the death of someone with dark skin. This, of course, is utter stupidity and bullshit, but not the utter stupidity and bullshit you're accusing him of.

(I can't believe I even have to say this again) I'm all for calling Charlie on his bullshit, but the complete fabrication of things he's saying into something wholly different is, among other things, intellectually dishonest and a poor argument tactic.
