I laughed way too hard at the lesbians bit and then felt equally bad for laughing.
I think it's funny but true when Burnie Burns of RT says, "The Walking Dead is the one show NO ONE gives a shit about posting spoilers for. Even the fucking official social media account for The Walking Dead spoiled a major character death before anyone not on the East Coast of the US had gotten a chance to see it." It's like, every other show, people go apeshit about spoilers. The Walking Dead? Apparently not.
With Walking Dead people seem to go out of there way to blab about spoilers. It's not happened for me, but my wife's friend, co-workers, mother can't shut up and apparently say "oh, this isn't a spoiler," then reveal a major character death, which makes me wonder if a lot of people even know what a spoiler is.
I think it's more that characters dying is so common (usually at least 1 major and several minor) that it feels like it's not important in the slightest.
Spoiler: There are zombies.
That was a really strong opener for the mis-season.

What the hell was with the cut up bodies though? And why did they have W's carved in their heads? Even as a comic reader, I'm kinda stumped on that one.

Hmmm.... that was a pretty meh episode right there I thought.
I mean let's be honest, as soon as Tyresse started to try and give Noah an inspirational speech, we knew that he was gonna die. It's a pattern that has repeated one too many times for me. We get it, Walking Dead, you can only have so many Black leads on the show and if you want to add more you have to kill the existing ones first (T-dog and Bob went exactly the same way. I actually felt the episode was overall weak because from that point on it was just waiting for him to die. Had a moment where I thought he might make it when they cut his arm off but it quickly became apparent that that wasn't meant to be. Weak opener in my opinion... hope it gets better from here.
I immediately noticed Graffiti in Noah's former town that read "Wolves not far" and similar in a warning manner. I first wondered if 'wolves' was that community's word for walkers, but upon seeing the bodies, and Tyreese's foreshadowed radio broadcasts of roaming pillagers, I'm assuming that the Wolves are a gang.
I was going to watch the episode and then go to bed.
Now I'm too sad for bed ...
I thought it was a good but weird episode. I'm surprised Tyrese didn't see Karen among the others, all things considered.
Noah's town looked like someone had dropped bombs on it. I'm guessing the Wolves are some nasty group roaming the woods and will be our main human problem for the rest of the season. And eventually Morgan will catch up.

Okay wait... In last night's episode....
Did Rick and company get saved by a magical tornado? One minute they are in huge trouble because it looks like 40 walkers are outside trying to break in, the next they are all sleeping peacefully. At first I thought it was a dream that Maggie was having due to how they cut, but then her and Sasha go outside, and we see dozens of knocked over trees and a few battered or crushed walkers. If they really did get saved by a sudden tornado (one that kept the barn completely unaffected) then Gabriel must be trying to collect his collar ashes because that is some divine intervention bullshit right there.
I don't know about magic, but it was a pretty intense scene.

I thought the friend was going to have been Morgan ... don't know who the hell this guy is with, but it's sketchy that he knows Rick's name.
I have one problem with this situation.
There are still five episodes left to this season, so this can't possibly go well.
No, it's too soon for them to have to escape another bad settlement. It's likely things will be good for a few episodes, then whoever those assholes were (The Wolves?) that attacked the other walled city will come calling to set up next season.
Question relating to The Walking Dead video game, season 2:
Is Alexandria the community that Kenny, Clem, and AJ go to (assuming you go that route)? I think it's just called "Washington" in the game, but the two are right by each other.
No, that's Wellington and it has nothing to do with Alexandria.
Alexandria is a town near D.C. and I used to live there. From what we can glean in the game, Wellington is much farther north, perhaps up nearer to Pennsylvania.
I'm not watching the show anymore, but this video had some fun, little facts that you guys might appreciate:
Let's yet again show some appreciation for Carol.
Pretends she's too weak to lift the gun, like she's unused to it. Tells Dianna that she was just a happy homemaker, essentially portraying herself as season 1 Carol only now with a happy smile, not letting on what a badass she's become. Fucking brilliant.

It's not even that she's not those things. She was the teacher at the prison and looked after a lot of kids and sick people. She can cook and clean and do all the shit... hell, she even enjoys it. These are legitimate parts of her personality. It's just that she's so much than that now and she knows better than to flaunt it when it's better to hide it.
Can I just say how much I enjoy the Daryl/Carol dynamic? She's alternatively his sister, his mom, his friend, and his non-romantic emotional support. She's always there for him because he's always been there for her... even if this mean sometimes she needs to beat him over the head that, yes, he needs to start acting like a human being again. Unfortunately, Daryl was raised in the backwoods by white supremacists who abused him and a brother who wasn't exactly the best role model ether. It doesn't help that he's essentially asexual and doesn't know how to act around people. That means it's going to be up Carol to get Daryl up to speed on how civilization works or I don't see him staying with the group much longer.

It depends where things go. I can see two ways it goes:
1. Things work out with this place, Daryl becomes more estranged from the others (especially with Rick returning to police duties), and the spin-off they're planning centers around him.
2. They have to take this place, like Rick said they might have to, and he sticks with the group to help the takeover.

My wife noticed the supports on the outside too, which is odd, but whether it was too keep in walkers or people, who knows ...
As for the missing gun:
