[TV] Talk about the last TV you watched, the catchall thread

Thought Season 7 of Parks and Rec was a very good epilogue to season 6, which to me felt like the true ending.

Maybe that's just because of the time jump. I don't know. It was good though. Although what happened to Lucy Lawless? They just abandoned Ron's family completely. Dude had a son bad two daughters and nary a mention of them all season.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the best thing Netflix has ever aired/purchased/distributed (there has gotta be a better way to say that. made? it was made for NBC though technically.........)
While it was for NBC, Netflix is bankrolling the next two seasons, so I'd say it's more a Netflix show since they're the ones willing to give it a fair shot.

According to this she was doing a play at the time and was too busy. Still annoying, but at least it wasn't a mean reason.

I just got around to watching this week's Archer. I haven't had an episode make me laugh that hard in a while. Also, a little dark at the end, even for this show.

Bebop and Rocksteady are also slated to be in the next movie, so they got added to the show for that.

Regardless, this is hands down the best incarnation of the show.

It REALLY is, perfect blend of everything good in the turtleverse. One thing I wished they adapted more from was the 2003 show, preferably Agent Bishop. Dude was SCARY cool.

Steven Universe: Rose's Scabbard

The moment Pearl said "Rose didn't keep secrets from me." is a key indicator for the drama bomb that is Steven Bomb.

Steven Universe

This show gets way too intense sometimes, but we got some good info from this. We learned that Amethyst didn't take part in the Gem War (which means Rose woke her up sometime after). We also learned that Rose kept a lot of stuff from even her closest confidants. That means Pearl doesn't know about the Bismuth or that Rose hid it from them.

So we've seen Amethyst and Pearl's feelings towards Rose. That just leaves Garnet... but I don't think we're getting that before the Season 1 finale (The Return/Jailbreak on Thursday). Full Disclosure marks the beginning of Season 2 (though Season 2 has 3 Season 1 episodes mixed in right now because they took them out of the order for the Steven Bomb).

Yeah I think its gonna be a while before we see more Garnet secrets, there's hints that the blue gem was one of her components, but I don't think so.
And dear lord I and several other fans were confused about those three eps."Wait, is T-shirt Club the season finale? Not...the half-hour special? Whaaaaaaaaaaa?"

GRAVITY FUCKING FALLS!

TWIN THEORY CONFIRMED BITCHES!Also, HOLY SHIT HE'S THE AUTHOR!
That was a pretty big revelation.

There was a lot of emotions at play this episode despite all the action. How far Zoos' love and loyalty towards Stan will go. And Mabel still believing in Stan, even though everything seems like she shouldn't. And we're not even sure if she made the right call yet.

STRAIGHT UP, also I feel HE is going to yell at Stan. It just looks like that is going to happen.
And then there's the whole "Who is Stan" thing, apparently "Stan Pines" died in a car crash, than who the hell is he? Art the Mystery brothers(what I am calling them) ACTUALLY related to the twins, or is this some crazy conspiracy? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! GRAH!

Man you folks like Gravity Falls. I watched the first episode and felt nothing for it.
It was someone in here (i forget who), after posting a bunch of gifs, described it as an "animated Twin Peaks" and that was enough to get me hooked. This season definitely lives up to that description. Like the Adventure Time discussion, different
strokes for different folks, I guess.

They're going to have to address the elephant in the room, namely who Stan is supposed to be and why the twins parents would send them to him in the first place.
I have a theory that the ids and newspapers clippings are from alternate dimensions involving the Pines men.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH, that would be COOL! Plus it would make sense given the portal. My theory is that Author Stan was sucked into the portal, so Grunkle Stan faked his own death and took on his brother's identity.

Last Man on Earth is funny so far. I still need to watch episode 3 though. I feel like it could go either way to being glorious or kind meh.

I liked the twist that there was one last woman on earth, and even further that she was annoying as hell but there's a few things i'm not 100% digging. The last woman on earth just HAS to be a nagging bitch who's bothering him about commitment and how he needs to clean up? You broke the mold on the premise, let's not phone in the details. Her insisting on things like calling them tomaaaatoes is funny though.

I do love that he doesn't open doors, he just shoots out the window because of course you would in that situation.

Finished episode 3.

Totally called the ending. This girl is probably going to be awesome and totally compatible with Phil. I bet a hot dude shows up soon.

highlights: YOU FOUND YOUR CAMPING SPOT! PUT THE FOOD IN THE TREE BEFORE THE BEARS COME!

Holy shit that had be laughing for a few minutes. I had to pause it.

Indeed a big revelation, but not a surprising one. There where some hints here and there.
Remember episode 19? In a flashback we see young Stan in a boxing ring. Take a look at the audience and you will notice a little bookworm with the same hair as Stan who for some reason read the book with his gloves on.

Oh and I wouldn't be surprised that both are named Stan. One Stanley and the other one Stanford.

I have been hoping that's the case since the first time I saw the "Stanleymobile"

Dipper: Wait, so your parents named you two Stanford...AND Stanley? Were they trying to get you to get picked on?

Also, Grunkle Stan is totally probably the twins' secret grandpa.

What I'm wondering is, will they NEED a season 3 after this? I mean we've figured out who the author is, all that's left is Bill's plan. ALSO- where are the Pines going to live after this ep?

Fair point, plus Disney probably knows its popular enough to deserve a third season. Not popular enough to have a normal air-date of episodes, but popular.

What bugs me is, whose symbol is the glasses? For a while I thought it was Stan's brother, but he's the other so logically he's the six fingered symbol. Macgucket maybe? And don't get me STARTED on the ice bag, I would not be surprised if they never revealed the secret behind that.
