Whine like a baby, now with 500% more drama!

I just woke up from a decent sleep with fiery, burning heartburn, something I don't ever get so I don't even have any antacids in the house. Just gulped some milk. I was bitching about it when my girlfriend reminded me I ate like 20 suicide hotwings for dinner along with beer and that I'm not a kid anymore.

BOOOO, BOOO AGING!
Remember that little hospital stay I had in January? I've found I can make those symptoms come and go at will, just lay off the Prilosec for a couple of days. :(

I hate writing query letters. Didn't I do enough work writing and editing a book? Why do I have to get an agent or a publisher? Why can't it just transform into money? Writing these 150 words is worse than writing the 100,000 preceding them. I just want to enjoy what's left of my damn weekend. Waaaaaahhhhhh.

I hate this so much. Sometimes if I have a soda too early in the day my chest is on fire. I used to get it really bad off of tequila and rum, back when I still drank the stuff.

Put the knee brace on too tight before leaving for work. It nearly killed me. I'm still feeling the effects of cutting off the circulation four hours after taking it off.

I've somehow gotten to the "can't drink a coke or a coffee after 2pm or I won't sleep" point in my life, and it sucks. Booh aging, indeed.

I've got this earworm of a song that won't get out my head. Well, not the whole song, just the same 8 measures over and over again. It's this fast flamenco type guitar thing that's about 120bpm and I can't remember much more of it or even where I heard it. I've been dredging up HFA music a lot this weekend so it could have been any of a hundred places, or even maybe just the soundtrack to a game or an anime or something. Aaaiigh

As I hear it over and over in my head, I become more convinced it is from a video game. I wanna say... DBZ is involved?

So one of our friends husbands left her, and she was pissed and filed a cps case against him (with my wife verifying what was going on), now two days after that they are getting back together buy hey, now CPS wants to talk to the husband and the wife and the kids, who would have thought that was going to happen (besides you know, everyone)!

If your wife was willing to verify, does that mean that something actually was going on worthy of involving cps? If so, it might not be so bad that they're involved now.

Though, for the sake of the kids, it sounds like these two would be better divorced.

Yeah, wtf? Before I break out the pitchforks, was the CPS call justified?

Discovered last night that my neighbor at my old condo back in Civilization (aka SE Wisconsin) died on Friday. She was 91, and had Parkinsons.

Though I'm on vacation, I'm thinking a 3 1/2 hour drive down for a funeral is out of the question. It's still sad to hear.

WELP, I may just be a glutton for punishment. Tonight for dinner I sauteed green peppers and spicy Italian sausage together and then coated it in hot sauce, because fuck it, that's my comfort food. I was told that if I wake her up tonight bitching about heartburn that I'm not allowed to eat anything but boiled everything for a week.

Yeah I keep telling myself to stop having cereal or anything with a shitload of dairy because I know I'll wake up feeling gross, but here I sit with a freshly empty bowl anyway.

Razzafraggin donah wrackin salesweasel broke my stapler.

It ran out of staples, he tried to load it with heavy duty staples (which are about 5 times as thick as the correct staples).

Then when it didn't staple, he pounded on the top until the heavy duty staple got wedged too far in to come back out.

It's the "Office Space" red Swingline model 747 from thinkgeek (currently sold out).

Was a christmas present from Pauline.

"It's just a stapler."
"Your explanation is insufficient. Now you must die."
Also, I question the wisdom of allowing someone to use your stapler whose solution to "it's not working" seems to be "hit it more harder until it working."
