So this should be mildly interesting.

For me?
1) The way. Tyrion Lannister had an excellent idea on this one.
2) A university. I've really never been much for sports (ironic given my position)
3) Wifi, I'm no apple cultist.
4) That's tough. What if your greatest wish has to do with your biggest regret? I think I'd take the wish, and I guess you guys know how I'd use it.
5) Island. No contest.
6) Lightspeed travel. Getting from place to place is already tedious, and people are stupid, I don't want to have to hear what they think.
7) Real money. I can barely think of what to buy with a $50 amazon gift card.
8) Friends. I'd rather have a friend for life than a(nother) love that's lost.
9) Car. I can handle the gas myself.
10) Pirate. This isn't even a question.
11) That entirely depends on if I retain my memories, knowledge and abilities of my current life when I start over. If I do, then yes, I'd start over. But I suspect the point of the question implies amnesia for a 100% fresh start.
12) I dunno about fame, but wealth works for me. I don't need to be a wizard.
13) Again with the mind reading? Again no contest! See the future. If for no other reason than to avoid disasters, game the lotto, and... and know when it's critical to go to the doctor, I guess.

So this should be mildly interesting.

For me?
1) The year, I think.
2) A university, duh.
3) Wifi. I can save enough to buy whichever product I like.
4) No regrets big enough. Wish.
5) Island.
6) Lightspeed travel. Copy/paste GB: "Getting from place to place is already tedious, and people are stupid, I don't want to have to hear what they think."
7) I'll take the million. Grocery shopping online, baby!
8) Friends. Dont have any strong celebrity crushes.
9) Car. A Tesla, please.
10) Ninja
11) I'd rather not start over.
12) I sure hope the Potterverse isn't real. I'll take fame and fortune.
13) I know the mind well enough. Future, please.

(answered before reading anyone else's (but then tweaked))

Manner
University
Wifi (Free. FOREVER. How could that not be the better option, no matter whose camp you're in?)

Wish/Regret - This is the hardest question on the list. I have some pretty big regrets. Many of them merely involve retroactively treating someone else better. On top of that, my biggest wish is a pretty tall order. Assuming the wish is Genie-style, and not Make-A-Wish-style, I'd go with that, because I would still be able to chip at my regrets afterwards, whereas if I rectify my regret, the wish would be lost.

Island, duh.
Minds. Light speed travel has too many risks. If it had been teleportation, then we might've had a deal.
Money. Right now a windfall even as small as $90k would just about set me free.
Friends 4EVA!
Dream Car (Note: My dream car doesn't actually exist right now but hey I sure want it).
(FYI Free gas for 25yrs for me would probably be <$10k total unless gas exceeded $6.50/gal starting tomorrow)
Ninja. Sounds safer than being a pirate.
Continue/Restart is gonna depend on whether I get to keep any knowledge. If not, then continue.
Potter! (if you believe the stories, we already do) If it had been wealth WITHOUT fame, I might've chosen that instead.
Future (previously chose the mind reading trait, why put more points into it?)

--Patrick

Okay, I'm bored, I'll bite:

1) Quietly and painlessly, thank you.
2)I'm going to have to pick the stadium because there are already universities bearing my first and last name.
3)Wifi. Bleah to Apple
4) I want to resolve my biggest regret, but I'm worried it would alter the current course of my life. That might not be worth it.
5)Island (preferably in the Wasabi Poptart neighborhood)
6)Travel. I never want to be stuck on a plane for 15 hours again.
7)The cash. Amazon isn't going to pay off my mortgage or my kid's college.
8)Friends
9)Gas. I can rent or test drive my dream car.
10)Ninja. I can already pirate. ;)
11)Continue. It's not perfect, but I like it so far.
12)Can I keep the wealth and skip the fame? No? Then "Accio coffee!".
13)This one is hard, because you're going to end up knowing things you don't want to know. I guess it would also depend on whether the future is written in stone. I think I'll take the mind, only because I don't know if I'd want to life knowing how/when everything ends.

1. I'll go with year, I want to die in the year 3000. Who cares if mankind is annihilated before then, until then I can make whatever asshole bad decision I want and know I won't be dead.
2. University, I'm a nerd, I don't give a one shit about sports ball.
3. I'll take the wifi, my PC and Android say that Apple can get fucked.
4. I have no regrets that are on par with my wishes, I'd much rather have that.
5. I'm going to assume that in this one, the jet is taken care of, pilot, fuel, permits, hangar, etc. If that's the case, I'll take the island. Land baby. Own some land.
6. Light speed travel, so long as I don't do something like incinerate the atmosphere or something like that.
7. I'll take the giftcards, there's little on Amazon besides shelter you can't get.
8. I dunno, dating the crush probably. Tis better to love and such, etc.
9. GAS! Fucking even with the price of oil in the tank, it's still risen to a dollar a liter.
10. I'm descended from the Normans, vikings who carved a piece of France out for themselves, then took over England. Forever. I am a descendant of the original bad ass pirates.
11. I'd restart my life (hopefully from the year I was born). There's lots I could have done better.
12. Harry Potter's world is a nightmare land full of evil murdering overlords.....so, mostly like real life. I'll take wealth.
13. Read minds, I don't want to know what catastrophic shit is to come.

1. The way I die. I don't care about when. I decided a long time ago that I'd accept death whenever my time comes.
2. University.
3. Free Wifi plz!
4. I'll take the wish. I'm also afraid resolving my biggest regret could alter my current situation. Totally not worth it.
5. Private island. You may be thinking, "But Wasabi, you already live on an island". However, I want to live on a slightly less populated island where having the Zipper truck break down on a major highway doesn't cause an island-wide traffic jam.
6. Travel at the speed of light. I don't need to read minds for a number of reasons.
7. Private islands need stuff, and I'm a Prime member with free shipping, so I'm going with Amazon.
8. BFFs with my favorite author? Would that be a celebrity?
9. Car.
10. I'd love to be a pirate. I have problems with being seasick, though.
11. Continue my life as is.
12. I'd take the lifestyle of fame and wealth, but to actually be famous sounds horrible.
13. This question was also the worst one for me to answer. If I can do something with the information, make a difference some how, then I pick knowing the future.

1. Rather have the year, not the way. Though with the way, I could say "peacefully in my bed, with my family at my side, having lived a full life."
2. Meh. A sport stadium would be nice, but a university would be a bit silly. I think I'd barely lean toward the latter, though.
3. The father of a friend of mine used to get the latest Mac every so often. I had to help him clean out his place, so I don't think I'd want that. Free Wi-Fi might be more useful.
4. My biggest regret, sadly, can't be resolved short of resurrection or time travel. So I'll go with biggest wish.
5. Gimme the jet.
6. Telepathy is overrated as a superpower. Light speed - or instantaneous teleporting - would be great, because then I could be nearly in two places at once.
7. You can buy a lot on Amazon, but that don't pay the bills. Gimme $100k instead.
8. I don't have a celeb crush, so being BFF with my fave celebrity. And I could see how it happens already - we're both Predators fans already. ;)
9. Who needs free gas when your dream car is a Tesla Model S P85D?
10. Oh come ON. Neither one's very appealing to me. Living in the shadows vs. living on the high seas. Ninja would barely be my choice (since it's not far above what I do now for a living).
11. Continue on. Past is past.
12. Fame and wealth wear on you. Being a muggle in a wizard's world would be more tolerable.
13. Both of these are a curse, but reading minds has drawbacks (EWWW, you want to do WHAT to that CHICKEN?). I'd not be crazy about knowing the future, but it's preferable to knowing how... vapid... some people are about their thoughts.

1. Way I die
2. University, because they keep renaming stadiums for money
3. Wi-Fi 4EVA
4. Wish, no regrets
5. I'm going to say Island, because of a later question
6. Light-speed travel, no need for a jet then
7. Amazon, because that's groceries and all the other stuff
8. BFF with celeb
9. Dream car, because it's the only way to afford it
10. Pirate
11. Continue
12. Potter's world, but it's close
13. Future

  1. Year. It'd be comforting to know that I'd always be there for my sons.
  2. Who cares? Stadium, I guess.
  3. Wifi. I don't even like apple products.
  4. biggest wish. I'm past all of my regrets.
  5. Island, for sure. You can party on it while you're alive, and pass it on when you die.
  6. Minds. Regardless of what you think about other people, knowing their thoughts could come in handy to prevent them backstabbing, lying to, or cheating you.
  7. Gift cards. Amazon ain't just for books any more.
  8. Date. Celebs are generally crazy, yo. 2 years is probably all I could put up with.
  9. Free gas.
  10. Ninja. Pirates are overrated.
  11. Restart. I have to assume that you restart with full knowldge. Otherwise, why would you do anything differently?
  12. Wealth. Wizards schmizards. Money is real power.
  13. Future. Gaming the lotto, stock market, business trends, etc. Between that and the ability to read minds in #6 (assuming you get all of these things), it's a powerful combination.
Twist: Pick 3. My choices #6, #13 would get me most of everything else on the list in time. Add #11 to that, and I'd be set.
Pick 1. Knowing the future.

The way.
University since its more likely to last.
Wifi.
Biggest wish. I could make all my regrets meaningless.
Private Island.
Read minds. Wouldn't me going light speed create some kind of massive destruction?
Gift Cards.
BFFs with Weird Al? Sounds like a win to me.
Free Gas. I'm not one for cars, and that'd be worth like $65k.
Ninja. They're really hot right now.
Restart. I know some investments to make...
Fame and wealth. Being famous sounds great. You guys are fuddy duddys.
See the future. I'd know some investments to make...

Manner
University
Wifi
Wish
ISLAND
Light Speed (for getting to and from the island)
Amazon (they have everything!)
BFF
Free Gas for 25 years (bet I could stockpile a bunch on the island)
Pirate (....uh island....duh)
Continue please...
Fame and Wealth (to pay for everything on the island)
Seeing the future... I guess....

The manner of death, specifically my healthy body with its intact mind is incinerated when, at the end of its natural life, old Sol goes nova and swallows the Earth. Me and my BFF Sandra Bullock will be sitting on a beach on my private island watching a most glorious sun set. Yarrr.

The one with Harry Potter's World... it only says you get to live there. It never says you get to be a wizard... and not being a wizard in a world where such things exist is to live at the complete mercy of mad men, with none of the advantages of living in such a world. It's literally one of the worst results I can think of.

So this should be mildly interesting.

1. If I pick how I die, it could happen at any time... but if I knew the year, that would also be weird... I guess I'd want to pick how I died. I want to die peacefully in my sleep of old age. Does saying "of old age" stop me from dying in my sleep at 40, 50, etc?...

2. Don't really care about either, but I guess a university. It would be funny to hear people say "I got into Leslie!"

3. Free wifi

4. Biggest wish. Going back and resolving my biggest regret wouldn't actually fix anything.

5. Private jet. It would be cool to have an island, but to me it's even cooler to be able to travel anywhere I want, anytime.

6. I'd want to read minds, but only if I could do it selectively. None of this "get out of my head!" business. Yes, I'm nosy. I'm mostly just curious about strangers that I think look interesting. Plus I could go to New Orleans and become the most popular French Quarter palm reader.

7. This is hard. Most of what I want are experiences--the ability to go places. So the real money would be useful there. However, if I had 1 million in gift cards I could use that for so many essentials that I could save money for travel. So... I guess I'll take the gift cards.

8. Best friends with celebrity

9. Free gas. I don't have a dream car. My dream car is the car that works when I need it to.

10. If I'm a ninja or a pirate do I have to embrace the lifestyle or simply possess the skills? I guess ninja. It would be cool to be that nimble, and I get seasick.

11. Continue on.

12. Fame and wealth

13. Read minds again. I don't want to see the future... except my own death, if I have to pick between when and how, I suppose.

I could go to New Orleans and become the most popular French Quarter palm reader.
I was thinking along those lines, too! I want to have my own TV show though.

Then I started considering how I could be validating the whole industry of snake oil sellers, card readers, "psychics", etc. and that changed my mind.

1) I think year I die so that I can know how to maximize on the years I have left.
2) Probably sports stadium. Universities are terrible places where people throw tons of money down a hole for little payoff. Sports Stadiums are the same, but aren't pretending.
3) Free Wifi wherever I go. I already don't own apple products and not because they're over priced either.
4) Biggest Wish for sure. I don't have too many super big regrets and just resolving one of them would be kinda nice but not life changing. I'll apologize for the shit I did when I have tons of money and can buy forgiveness.
5) Private Island. I'd rather have that nice vacation spot and retreat than the ability to just go places. There aren't a lot of places I want to see that badly.
6) This one is tough for me. I think Read minds because it would maybe help with communication. If I know that the person that I'm talking to just isn't getting what I'm saying I can change my approach.
7) I'd take the real money so I can invest it. I suppose I could set up shop with the amazon gift cards by offering to buy stuff for half the purchase price. Then I'd end up with half a million real dollars which would go further. Though that would take much more time.
8) BFFs, yo. Me and Dwane Johnson would start a show where I'm a ghost who solves mysteries and he's the only one who can see me.
9) Does the delorean from BTTF 2 count? After it's got the Mr. Fusion and can run on trash? Because if so I'll take that.
10) After watching Black Sails I can attest that being a pirate is boring as fuck even though titties are everywhere. Ninja it is.
11) Probably the restart? If I know what I know now that is.
12) Fame and wealth. Harry Potter is one of the worst things I've ever seen or experienced.
13) this guy really wants me to read minds. See the future it is!

So this should be mildly interesting.

1) The way, I guess.
2) A university. Piers University has a nice ring to it.
3) Free Wi-Fi. I don't think I've ever owned an Apple product in my life.
4) Neither? I really don't have any big regrets and my biggest wish (becoming an author) came true.
5) Private island. Because then...
6) Lightspeed travel, as others pointed out.
7) Amazon credit. That could last me quite awhile for comics and books I'd want.
8) Best friends forever. Though I don't think there are any celebrities that I'd love to have as a best friend, honestly.
9) My dream car wouldn't run on gas, anyway.
10) Ninja, I guess? I've always wanted to learn and master a martial art.
11) Restart. Can I do that now? Because published books aside, I really wish I could just do everything over.
12) Eh, don't really care about Harry Potter's world, so fame and fortune it is.
13) Read minds.

1. Way I die. If you know you'll die surfing the methane clouds of Jupiter, that's pretty much immortality right there 'till you decide you've had enough and go methane cloud surfing.
2. University. Actually airport, if given the choice, but eh.
3. Free wifi. Why would I want apple products for life?
4. Greatest wish.
5. Island. A jet without staff and gasoline and stuff included doesn't do much good.
6. Read minds. Being able to understand what other people are thinking - what they actually mean instead of what they say - would help avoid so much discussions and fights due to communication issues.
7. Amazon gift cards. You can buy most everything with 'm these days, and I'm fairly sure I could trade people stuff I'd buy for them for more than 1/10th their worth in cash.
8. Best friends. I can always use a great best friend; why would I want to date someone else for just 2 years? It'd mean giving up my current girlfriend, and while she isn't perfect, she's nice and seems to love me. 2 years with someone else just to be back to being alone afterwards? Pass.
9. My dream car doesn't run on gas. Also depends on how wide we can go with definition of "dream car", does it have to exist IRL etc?
10. "Realistic" ninja or pirate (NEITHER) or tropish fictional pirate/ninja? If the latter, ninja for the whole moving invisibly and impossibly fast an d being super duper awesome at martial arts. Some booze and wenches don't compare.
11. Keeping all knowledge? Restart. Blank slate? Keep going.
12. Potter's world IF it's as a wizard and after the events of the movies; no fun being a squib :p. Otherwise....Fortune, and as little fame as possible.
13. Depends on how movable/avoidable the future is. If it's set in stone and completely unchangeable in any way - minds. If you can use it to affect the future but knowing exactly what actions will have what consequences - the future.

1. When. Knowing the how doesn't give me much peace of mind. The when could still wind up being tomorrow.
2. University. The name on the stadium lasts only until the next rights deal.
3. Apple products means I get free upgrades. Most places I go already has free wi-fi anyway. And since the *speed* of the wi-fi isn't mentioned, Apple looks like the better deal. :)
4. My biggest wish would help resolve my biggest regret and allow me to remain on the path I'm already on.
5. Island. Next question makes the jet irrelevant.
6. As long as we don't have to worry about actual physics getting in the way of moving at light speed in the atmosphere...
7. Gimme the money.
8. BFFs. Opens more doors.
9. Both are redundant when you can travel at light speed, but the dream car will still be there when the gas is all used up.
10. Pirate. A PITTSBURGH Pirate. :troll:
11. Might as well keep going. Even if I knew what was coming, I wouldn't be able to avoid a few personal disasters.
12. Life of fame and wealth. What's the point of living in the Potterverse as a Muggle?
13. Reading minds lets me adjust on the fly more than just seeing the future. Besides, previous question says I've already got the wealth I would have used seeing the future to get. :)

So this should be mildly interesting.

1) Way. I'm with Tyrion on this one too, I think.
2) University. However unlikely it might be that I would ever be remembered for academics (I would just skate my way through and ace tests, rather than do the work. Because I'm lazy.
3) Wifi. Because I'm no drinker of the Apple Juice.
4) Wish. Honestly, while I have a GREAT number of regrets in my life (which my mind DELIGHTS in replaying for me, nightly)
5) Jet. Because believe it or not, I don't much care for sub-tropical "paradises," - my preferred island would be something off the coast of Scotland. With a jet, I can travel anywhere I choose to, provided I can afford the fuel.
6) Read minds, although this one would have to be exercised very, VERY carefully. The temptation to misuse it would be HUMONGOUS.
7) Cards, for much the same reasons that Seej posted. Plus, you can get ALL SORTS of things through Amazon, these days...
8) BFF. It'd be kinda cool to be able to chill and play X-Box with an A-lister. Or bring 'em to SCA events... dude!
9) Gas. Hmmm, look at that... free jet fuel!
10) Ninja. I'd LOVE to have access to those kinds of martial-arts abilities...
11) Restart. So long as I could retain my memories as they are now... honestly, I'd like to take another crack at that whole "puberty" thing. Get it right this time, you know?
12) Harry Potter world, because it would be pretty awesome to have access to magic and potions like that, even if I was a squib.
13) Future. Honestly given the choice here, I'd rather see the possible ramifications of actions before they were taken, or as they were taken... it'd make for interesting foot chases, at least, should the suspect ghost me! :D

Yes, because when I think "private island", I want a place where the flora and fauna are always trying to kill me. :p
At least the locals are friendly!

.....oh.

I did say I'm not surprised.

I think I'd pick . . . I don't know. I like my teeth, so not Britai- Oh, I know!

I'd pick the Isle of (I'm the) Man.

So this should be mildly interesting.

I don't have strong opinions on a few of these but here goes:

I'd like to pick the year. I want to be here for my family.
A university. I am so not a sports fan so a stadium would be useless. Unless I could book awesome concerts there. Hmm....stadium it is lol!
I would love free, top of the line Apple phones and Macbooks for life. Why has no one else picked this?
My biggest wish I guess. Resolving my biggest regret would be pretty cruel to the person involved.
Private Island! In a dark preserve :)
Light speed travel for sure. I really don't want to read minds.
This one is tough. I love me some Usher.
Free gas for 25 years, I don't drive fancy cars and if I have fame and wealth the car might be covered.
Pirate!
Continue my life.
Fame and Wealth.
See the future. I read the Sookie Stackhouse books. Reading minds is bad.

Hmmm...

1. The way. Then I can just avoid that until I'm ready to pack it in.
2. Coin flip, don't rightly care. Heads means university. There.
3. I don't even have a Wi-Fi connection at home, so... Apple products I guess? I can always sell/donate them if I don't want them.
4. Have a few regrets, but I'd go with the wish.
5. Private island. Especially coupled with...
6. Light speed travel. Because people already say some stupid shit, I shudder to think of the things left unsaid.
7. I do most of my entertainment shopping on Amazon already and that would free up a considerable amount of resources for other stuff, so the gift cards I guess.
8. Friends forever. Although I honestly don't know who it would be. I'm not sure I HAVE a favourite celebrity... But with a great best friend comes all kinds of other opportunities...
9. I don't drive, so I'll take the free gas which I can then give out to friends and family.
10. Be a pirate. Seriously?
11. Continue my life. Warts and all, I like my life. It's not perfect, but it's mine.
12. Fame and wealth (could do without the fame, but eh, I'll deal). Living in Harry Potter's world without being a wizard sounds like a recipe for disaster.
13. See the future. I thought I already answered this at question 6. Was I unclear?

I don't get why people think that living in Potter's world automatically means you're born a muggle/squib/wizard.
Even as a muggle, it certainly opens up some interesting possibilities...especially since wizards try to keep their existence somewhat hidden from ordinary folk.

you're aware Harry Potter is a documentary, right? :p
Prove me wrong! ;)
