I was going to mention that incident, but I was going to reference a post that @stienman made about robots that large being hazardous to nearby workers, except I can no longer find the post. It was in reference to this post over in the awesome videos thread, and I believe it was something like, "I'd be terrified to be that actor. Those large industrial robots can just move right through you without slowing down."

The character in the picture is called Wash. Near the end of the movie Serenity, he, being a crack pilot, makes a difficult but perfect landing, a moment of glory...Then gets unceremoniously killed off by a harpoon through the gut.

Shortly after that, Tudyk went to a convention. Signing an autograph for a fan he wrote, "I'm a leaf on the wind" and handed it to her. She bawled, "How could you write this on my picture?!" (He quickly got her another picture.)"

I really wish I had the clip, because listening to Alan tell it is even funnier.
