Completely over-the-top fight scenes mixed with a ridiculous premise (alien clothes grant power and are trying to enslave humanity) and weapons based on high school clubs.Berserk would be rad. I have no knowledge of Kill la Kill.

There are cases where radical idiots overreact. No matter how bad a game, you shouldn't go around threatening to kill the makers or their cat, and that sort of things. However, if you make a crappy crappy game, you can expect a lot of people to crap on it.Randy Pitchford really doesn't like when you tell him his games are bad, guys.
Oh sure, don't get me wrong. There's always that super-vocal minority that takes it way too far. Outside of that, though, if you release a completely shitty game that delivers on absolutely nothing you're going to get called out for it, and his staunch refusal to just admit A:CM was a shitshow while he puts his fingers in his ears is hilarious and sad. There are cases where radical idiots overreact. And that's all on top of the fact that they straight out lied to people about what the game was going to look like and how it was going to play when they showed off demos in the years leading up to its launch.Colonial Marines was hammered, but not unfairly. There were a lot of flaws both conceptually and in execution. It was repetitive, with incredibly shitty AI, and instead of offering a fantastic game of lethal hide-and-seek, with well trained, well equipped soldiers against the ultimate biomechanical weapon, you wound up with a mediocre shooter that felt dated.
I'm really not sure what they were supposed to do. They could get the DLC out on PC instead of squashing bugs, but when they did that for Arkham Origins, they got roasted on all the news sites as looking for money instead of fixing their product. On the other hand, not putting out the DLC for PC because they need a stable release first is getting them shit on as "abandoning" the PC version... mostly because we don't know for sure if they ARE fixing the PC version. On the OTHER other hand, if they had delayed release to get a stable release to begin with, they'd have been shit on for making PC gamers wait for the game, like Rockstar always does. So, on Arkham Knight. PC users, it won't be back on sale until likely the fall. That's fine and dandy if they fix it properly. Now, for the fucking asshole move by Warner Brothers, the DLC coming out for consoles in the next little while will NOT be available on PC until after it's back on PC. They waited until people went beyond the refund grace period to mention this. Basically, they're just now saying fuck you to the PC people who didn't get refunds. I imagine anyone who bought the season pass on PC must be furious.
They could offer something to the PC people that stuck with them other than a go fuck yourselves, wait.I'm really not sure what they were supposed to do. I'm not saying WB aren't being fucking awful (they are and should be ashamed of themselves) but it's not like they had a chance to begin with. Short of making the PC version the "source" version to be ported, they weren't going to win and they make far too much money on the consoles to justify that.
That's a fair idea. Maybe they should offer a free DLC package to the people who've been holding out when they put the DLC in? That would at least be something. They could offer something to the PC people that stuck with them other than a go fuck yourselves, wait.
It's important to note that, while they did halt sale of the base game on Steam, they DID NOT halt the sale of the season pass. So anyone who bought that is now having to wait far longer than originally communicated.I'm really not sure what they were supposed to do. That's true and COMPLETE bullshit, especially if they don't deliver the DLC... but then Valve might force a refund on them if that happens. It's important to note that, while they did halt sale of the base game on Steam, they DID NOT halt the sale of the season pass. I think you mean GMG. Though, iirc, the premium edition that included the season was still $20 more than the base edition even after the hefty discount, so you still ended up paying full price for the season pass.I went the extra mile and bought the season pass, largely because it was so cheap through GoG.
You bet - it's called GoTY Edition, and usually comes out a year later for twenty bucks.Has there been a game where a Season Pass was even worth it? I feel like it's just not a great investment.
Capcom's been handling this stuff in a good way. Monster Hunter 4 has six months of DLC releases, and it's all free.Street Fighter V will be the first to stop getting re-released, as all balance/updates will be free. New characters can be earned via ingame money, or bought as DLC when released.
Someone who knows SF lore better than me could probably tell us exactly what the transformation is, but until then yeah, he's a feral Super Saiyan. He looks like he plays like a cross between Blanka and T-Hawk. Also, he goes Super Saiyan, which is strange.
I know I'm late to this, but the Season Pass for Borderlands 2 was damn well worth it.Has there been a game where a Season Pass was even worth it? I feel like it's just not a great investment.
Except it didn't include all the DLC. When Kreig (I think that was his name?) was released, he wasn't included in the season pass.I know I'm late to this, but the Season Pass for Borderlands 2 was damn well worth it.
