[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

Pretty sure she survived that. Felicia Day played Vi, who was seen on the bus afterwards. Among the "named" Slayers, I think Amanda was the only death.
Going back and rewatching, you're right. She was grabbed but the others got her free before she was chomped.

Not sure how I feel about the Frankenstein movie. Igor is just too gentlemanly and it looks like a jump-scare, quick-cut action film.

I like the idea of having Igor as a protagonist and the concept of him having to be the steady hand as Victor gets caught up in the madness of his work, but this does seem a bit heavy on the jump-cut action. Hopefully the actual film isn't, because this looks like it could have promise.

Okay, so the British version shows Igor being healed...but then Frankenstein is wanting to create an undead army?

I find it cringe worthy.

PLEASE WATCH THIS TRAILER AND HOPEFULLY YOU'LL LIKE IT ENOUGH TO WATCH MY MOVIE.

YES

PLEASE WATCH

HAVE FUN
It's especially weird in a movie theater, where we're watching that trailer plus thirteen others. "Please watch this trailer", well I'm already fucking here, aren't I?

Yes but PLEASE watch the trailer.

Love it.... then watch the movie when it comes out.

Those colors ... so crisp.

I hope one of the additions is the Dream deleted scene from the DVD extras, where it shows the giant dreaming of where he came from.

Now, to see it in theaters or wait for the Blu Ray ... hmm.

I'm just going to save you some trouble and point out that every time you ask "should I wait for this?" the answer you come up with is always no.
My wife says that between your "Esc and gaming" observation and this, she's going to start coming to you for advice on my actions.

We'll see if it's playing near me. I'll travel for Godzilla 2016, but if it's not local, I'm probably going to skip. Same goes for Attack on Titan movies--local or bust.

Ah the Iron Giant, I remember when Cartoon Network had that 24 hour marathon over and over and OVER again...I hated that marathon. It made me hate the Iron Giant, one of the greatest animated films of all time! It took me YEARS before I could enjoy it again.

Everything about this statement makes me want to slap you in the face.

No, I can sympathize with him. I experienced something similar with Finding Nemo when it came out. It's like everyone wanted to watch it, not even consider other options. All the constant watching left a bad taste in my mouth and I still haven't revisited the film since.

As for The Iron Giant? Great film, and I'll try to make sure I see it when it's re-released in theaters.

I just calls 'em how I sees 'em.

Watch it in your own time, the insane repetitive memory is hard to get over.

I can watch Iron Giant once/twice a year (usually 4th of July or around Thanksgiving) without it losing it's magic... sort of like The Nightmare Before Christmas, it's something I do seasonally. I watch a ton more for Halloween though...

- ParaNorman
- The Halloween Tree (Narrated by Lenard Nemoy and based on the Ray Bradbury book)
- Corpse Bride
- Something Wicked This Way Comes
- Night of the Living Dead (Original, Black and White version)
- Trick R Treat (I go see the year Fritz the Nite Owl live show of this)

Didn't really get the hype around the Iron Giant when I saw it way back when. Honestly found it to be pretty boring, and feel no desire to watch it again and give it another shot.
