[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

And the award for least information given in a trailer while simultaneously looking not interesting goes to- ANGRY BIRDS!
What I got from the trailer is that main character Red thinks life treats him badly, has anger issues and visits anger management training. There he meets an illustrious group of birds, the villain of the movie comes to the island, using some fancy scheme to trick the birds to get their eggs and at the end Red and his friends learn that they can channel their issues to save the day.

How much will you bet they'll do the cliche "it's all the main character's fault" that so many movies to these days. Ree will do something to help the pigs at first to get back at all the birds that piss him off. They'll kick him out of the village or something and he'll find a way to rescue the eggs with a small group of friends who forgive him.

I guess with the success of Sharknado, it was inevitable that there would be another Jaws sequel.

Or maybe it's just an ad for the blueray...

Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

Well this looks positively stupid. Not to mention it's finally out long after all the hype for the book has diminished. And aside from Walking Dead, hasn't the zombie craze more or less died down?

So yeah, bad timing all around on this one.

I kind of wish they had done Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters instead. We're in more of a creeping horror phase right now... Zombies won't be a huge "thing" again for awhile, but even then not until we have another huge social issue to rail against.

Yes, but it's got Matt Smith, so I'd at least Netflix it. :D

The first Mortal Kombat movie was alright, thanks to basically being Enter the Dragon. The first Resident Evil movie was also alright, as it hadn't become ridiculous yet. The live action Phoenix Right movie is half-way decent as well.

As far as ANIMATED Video Game movies... no, it's still not the first because it has to go against stuff like Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, Persona 4, and others.

I would see a movie about the D'ni.
Seriously, I would make time. Even if it had to be a midnight showing, I'd go.
...unless it sucked, of course.

The same animation studio as Ratchet & Clank are also working on a Sly Cooper movie, which also looks pretty great.

They're also supposed to be working on a new Reboot series, but they've promised that before, so I'll believe it when I see it.
