Keep it!So my friend and I were trying to get a flame ombre in my hair, and the red we used for the top color came out way brighter than we expected. Like, stopping traffic bright. It will probably tone down in a few days, and she'll redo it if I want for free, but I'm debating if I want it to, or if I just want to go with it to get shock reactions out of my family for Thanksgiving. [emoji14]

Here is one of the pictures I went and took after my doctor's appointment today:
Plumeria/frangipani that's outside of my daughter's classroom. She gave me one last week to wear in my hair. It smelled so pretty that now I want plumeria perfume.

Plumeria are a pretty common site around here. Most are white & yellow or shades of pink. They can be blue (which I've never seen irl), purple, orange, red, and yellow, too. That one is pink, white, and yellow which is supposed to be rare. The scent is almost like a gardenia, but not as sweet or strong.
I'm old, and I don't know how to take a good selfie. I don't have the years of practice at it that a lot of you younger folks have. I didn't grow up with a phone that could take pictures--hell, I got my first digital camera at 25, and it only did 320x240 pixel shots.

Not really new, per se... a couple shots from an SCA event back in September. Just got back from one this last weekend, which was REALLY fun - I'm starting to be known, and people are actively seeking me out, both for socializing and for fighting, which is new for me!
Taking a break - it was hot as hell that day!

And a fight with a guy whom I'd not met, before that day. He said that it was the best fight he'd had all day, and made a point of finding me later to thank me for it.
