[Webcomic] The Order of the Stick thread

What is the point of making so many vampires? The other High Priests are going to have their full complement of spells and even if they didn't, it's entirely possible at least a few of them are strong enough to just out right destroy them with turning attempts... and they are only forbidden from killing Hel's High Priest, which Roy can still do.

Will still buy them a bunch of time. The HPs will have to expend a bunch of spells, Roy and others may be weakened or hurt, all that.If it delays Roy long enough for the HPoH to do his thing, that's enough.

Now book 6 is set up, as vampire Durkon goes to dwarven lands to vamp the elders and destroy the world and Roy and the others must give chase.

Before anyone says "not ANOTHER side story", remember the books pattern:

Book -1 - Start of Darkness: Lirian's Gate (and intro to team Evil)
Book 0 - On the Order of PCs: Introduction to the Order of the Stick team
Book 1 - Dungeon Crawlin' Fools: Dorukan's Gate (accidentally)
Book 2 - No Cure for the Paladin Blues: Roy's sword repair arc and the Miko arc
Book 3 - War and XPs: Soon's Gate (well, sapphire) (and the battle for Azure City)
Book 4 - Don't Split the Party: Kubota arc, V ultimate power arc, Haley's resistance arc, Belkar's mark arc, Roy resurrection arc
Book 5 - Blood Runs in the Family: Girard's Gate

So per pattern, book 6 will focus on character arcs and not the final gate.

Reminds me of a player of mine chugging every potion he had as a last ditch effort, since there's a small % chance of exploding.
