[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

I guess, but...Haunt-Haunt-haunt-haunt-haunt is so much more practical and easy. Especially with the double rune (though the lingering rune is also neat, certainly in those "I'm looking for the remaining enemies" or "for the nearest enemies" cases, because the Haunts'll happily go off-screen to kill enemies and you can just follow them there), just casting Haunt 5 times is more efficient...And so far, the 60 seconds of Haunt damage dealt instantly with a double-haunt is more than enough to kill most buggers off. SharkPiranhado to get everyone close, followed by a Harvest, and they're all gone. Mostly. Or they kick my ass in short order, as I'm, as usual, a glass cannon :p

That right there's one of the big problems with ramping up difficulty. It's like Guitar Hero. As long as I only need to use 4 buttons, I'm pretty OK at it. But the higher difficulty where you have 5 buttons and need to move your fingers? Bwaha-hah-ha-no. Can't do it. Once I store stuff in my muscle memory, it's darned hard to get out :p

I've been on Torment 1 for awhile and I haven't been in any real danger for awhile. It might be time for me to bump it up...

As for my current build, it's just Leech Dogs, Soul Harvest, Jaunt, Piranhando, Blazing Spiders, and Acid Rain. Might drop Soul Harvest for Fire Wall.

I never actually cast Locust Swarm. Locust Swarm casts itself for me using Wormwood as my secondary weapon. So just getting within 10 yards of an enemy will infect one, then infect the entire batch of enemies near him. At no time do I ever spend the mana to use Locust Swarm, and as such I always have full mana, reducing damage by 50% due to the Aquila.

After I get going, with Soul Harvest and Gruesome Feast really pumping away, it's not uncommon for me to see my damage on the LCS to say 4663K.

It's OK. I found an Aether Walker, celebrated, and then immediately cubed it to harvest the ability, and then played for the next 2-3 days still wearing the Illusionist passive because I completely forgot about it until last night just before I went to bed.
Yeah, it's set to Unwavering Will now. I actually logged back in just to reset it since I was worried I wouldn't remember later.

So I'm at the last three milestones of my Season Journey on my Witch Doctor... and unfortunately, that means I need to grind Grind GRIND Nephelim Rifts and Bounties until I get the rest of my Helltooth set (which is FANTASTIC) or try to suffer through the Jade Dungeon. I also need a legendary ring drop to finish off the final milestone.

You know you can just cube any lvl70 yellow into a legendary, right?

I really haven't been messing around with the Cube, as I only just started doing Adventure Mode and didn't have resources. Though I'm going to need to mess around with it anyway to try and find a SuWong Diviner for my Helltooth build...

Are you on PC? I'd be happy to run some rifts with you and share set pieces.[DOUBLEPOST=1455037985,1455037931][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, Zombie Bears is a great option for Helltooth as well.

I'm not sure why you'd ever use it over Acid Cloud if you had a SuWong though. 300%+360% base weapon from base Acid cloud +75-100% of that on the SuWong + 900% from Wall of Death from Helltooth + 15% from Piranhando + 20% from Helltooth set just for the Acid Cloud and that's not even including the 1500% weapon damage from Necrosis on the Helltooth... I'd need a weapon+mojo that gave Zombie Charger at least as much of a buff and hope it makes up for the loss of area damage.

And I sort of need to actually get some GR keys before I do anything serious.

I have tried both and the Zombie Bears just matched my playstyle better. And it was so fun!

I'm Squidleybits#1946 if you want to run rifts/greaters/other stuff

Check out Scrimshaw and Henri's Perquisition :) Good stuff!
I'm playing with Henri's Perquisition too at the moment. Maybe not the best combo with Jade's, but it had better stats than my Thing from the Deep and I just cubed the TotD's power. Which taught me that fetishes are apparently considered weapons, which sucks balls, but what can you do?

Also, it's THE best transmog :D

There is no better transmog. I was really happy because now I can be a crazy cat lady wherever I am :D

I have four WDs this season...I have issues it would seem.

Right. While shields, sources and whateverthefucktheyrecalleds would've seemed more logical under "armor" to me. I understand why they decided to group them with weapons game-mechanic-wise, but out of game, I'd have expected them to be armor, so breaking down the item and then seeing I couldn't put that power in the armor slot was a bit of a downer.

Those 20 yards on the Thing of the Deep are wonderful
Yep...Though I admit I'l not using it to its full potential, not really using a lot of powers that can take advantage of it. Even just for gold and globes, it's really nice though.
Don't forget that it also affects how far away you can scoop up the progress orbs in rifts. Handy for not wasting time running all serpentine through a molten deathrattle effect trying to pick them all up. You can use the Avarice Band to kinda achieve the same effect (in regular rifts, not greater ones).
That effect on Scourge is really helping me until I get a decent weapon.
Oh, man. The Scourge effect was my go-to for a while until my char got some levels under him. In the days before being able to reduce level on epic weaps, it was the equalizer that let me hunt at a higher level than I really deserved so I could get better gear.

My goal is to try and get Avarice tonight. I need a third conquest to finish the season's journey.
Friend of mine did that for his second conquest. He did it with a goldskin and kymbo's gold and a bandit shrine on TX. Apparently those gilded barons carry a lot of cash.
