In the same vein, EA's having a sale on PSN.
Woop-de-shit.
Woop-de-shit.
Only on Uplay, if I'm reading the Humble Bundle site right. Doesn't even go through Steam this time.Probably requires Uplay, pass.
Yep, I was about to jump on the bundle until I saw that. Fuck that shit.Only on Uplay, if I'm reading the Humble Bundle site right. Doesn't even go through Steam this time.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was tempted to grab Rayman Origins for cheap (even though I might never get around to playing it), and now it's easy to resist the temptation.Probably requires Uplay, pass.
Technically that would probably be Winter Solstice anyway. We don't call January First "Solar new Year", either.
Lunar New Year is just another name for it, not just being PC or anything. We call January 1st the Calendar New Year (after the Gregorian calendar we all use and well, most calendars that preceded it).Huge sale on Steam for the occasion of Lunar New Year. Choose your story, get a bunch of sales of games related to the side you picked (choose Pirates -> get games like Sid Meier's Pirates; Choose Ninjas -> get Skulls of the Ninja and so on). It's just a way to showcase a larger variety of all the games on sale, considering you can go back and choose whatever other path you want if you just want to read the stories. Nothing really interesting, though.
On a completely unrelated note: why "Lunar New Year"? I can see why "Chinese New Year" might be offensive or inaccurate, but there are plenty of lunar calendars that don't have their NY anywhere close to this period (the Islamic Calendar as most obvious example). We don't call January First "Solar new Year", either.
Then we'll celebrate Snake Removal day by wearing green!Next up: Heart's Day sale!
And drinking to counteract the venom. Then we'll celebrate Snake Removal day by wearing green!
Really? An hour in or so, and I'm having a pretty good time. It's definitely quirky, but I enjoy the general style of it. Has a very Deus Ex 1 feel to it.I have to say that is the most boring game name ever.
"Consortium! From the makers of House Subcommittee: The Game!"
I have never played the game, just commenting on the name.Really? An hour in or so, and I'm having a pretty good time. It's definitely quirky, but I enjoy the general style of it. Has a very Deus Ex 1 feel to it.
RIP my reading comprehension, I thought you were commenting on the gameI have never played the game, just commenting on the name.
Wow. I haven't thought about Wild Cards in a long time. Not games, but since it's a Humble Bundle, I'll post it here:
Humble Book Bundle Sci-Fi Classics
I was literally typing you a message on Steam to beg for it when I noticed that they gave me one too... So yay?Steam gave me a coupon for 75% off of Valkyria Chronicles, it expires March 1st. Anyone want it?
I think, if I remember correctly, Kags has a Mac.
And you don't want to buy them right now 'cause you'd feel like a chump. So, you want the left oar or the right oar? Since we're in the same boat .I've got a wishlist full of games and I have a job again, so of course none of them are on sale now.
Surely you have some back log to keep you busy until then.I've got a wishlist full of games and I have a job again, so of course none of them are on sale now.
I do, thankfully.Surely you have some back log to keep you busy until then.
Yeah basically, I might pull the trigger on one or two of them regardless, but we'll see.And you don't want to buy them right now 'cause you'd feel like a chump. So, you want the left oar or the right oar? Since we're in the same boat .
That's what I ended up doing. Just pick the best one and consider it worth it, leave the rest to wait.Yeah basically, I might pull the trigger on one or two of them regardless, but we'll see.
