[TV] Talk about the last TV you watched, the catchall thread

I'll give Legends of Tomorrow one more episode, I think. It's not really catching my attention, much as I'd like it to. Cold easily steals the show, but I'm not super into anyone else and it's really easy to make time travel shows in a mediocre fashion.

HOW DID THIS SHOW MAKE ME HATE MAYA RUDOLPH, HOW?!

As for why I'm still watching, I plan an epic review that will tear this show SEVERAL new assholes...though I will admit to loving the Thanksgiving episode.

Limitless might be one of my favorite shows of recent seasons. Main character's fun, the crime procedural bit doesn't get boring, and the writing is pretty engaging. Apparently it's related to a Bradley Cooper movie from a few years back, though I haven't seen that.

And I have finished Better Off Ted...DAMMIT-why only two seasons?!

All in all my only minor qualm is that I felt Veronica had better romantic chemistry with Ted than Linda, and that's not a slant against her as she REALLY became a great character as the show went on.

But more importantly, the story wasn't given a real ending it just...stopped! At least Gravity Falls was given a chance to book-end itself, this show just felt like they ran out of time.

I liked Deadbeat, but I have a feeling that much like the Awesomes, it's on a slow train to canceltown.

Oooh, Marvel's Most Wanted (aka Mockingbird). Seems to have more than a hint of 80's TV to it (A-Team, Knight Rider) but mixed with more current twists.
I wonder if the plan is to go...

- Agents of SHIELD from August/Sept to December
- Agent Carter from Jan to Feb
- Agents of SHIELD from March to May
- Mockingbird from late May to late July/August

Basically to lock down that timeslot as THE Marvel time, sort of how AMC is locking down the Walking Dead's timeslot with Fear the Walking Dead.

Finished Deadbeat season 2, not sure if it works as a good book-end or not, but if it don't get renewed which it logically will I'd be okay with it.

Edit: Never mind on that, season three is coming APRIL BABY!

Working my way through Star Trek: TNG finally.

The comm noise is killing me, it's the same one Win7 uses for notice windows and I keep thinking my computer is yelling at me.

I don't envy your slog through the first two seasons, but take heart... in the middle of season 2, Gene Roddenberry died, and then suddenly the show got a whole lot better.

Yeah I'm on s2e17 now and it definitely started an upswing with 14 or so. The Borg episode was good, but then Q is a real saving grace every time he shows up.

e: Reading up on Roddenberry's involvement in TNG, and good Lord what a drama queen. No wonder season 1 felt like such a mess.

Every space ship and base in Doctor Who has the same alarm sound as my damned iPhone timer/alarm. The Doctor sets a core to breach and I go check to see if I put a pizza in the oven.

Just finished season 2 of Penny Dreadful and I'm SHOCKED that more people aren't into this show? Especially people in my social circles. It seems like everything they would love and enjoy in a show and yet, I haven't heard a thing about it from anyone. Regardless, I'm WAY into it. I love pretty much everything about it and I'm so impressed with the production value it has for a TV show. Plus, Eva Green. Can't wait for the season 3 premiere in May. :D WEeeeeEE! I wanna make all the pretty dresses!
