[TV] Talk about the last TV you watched, the catchall thread

Still worming through TNG, and man. Best of Both Worlds are a great set of episodes, but the following one, Family, just knocks the whole set out of the park. What a great chunk of television.

Picard's breakdown about being Borg almost had me crying.

Not convinced of the Cassidy character.
Jody isn't as massive as I expected, but he certainly appears violent enough.

Ugh season 5 is going to turn me into a blubbering manchild. I, Borg was one thing, but The Inner Light hurts my soul. It's too sad, stop being so sad.

That's the flute coma episode, right? Yeah, that one gets you right here.
Yeah, that last scene

when Riker shows him they found the flute in the satellite, and Picard clutches it to his chest before playing that lullaby, ugh.

Not to mention
how integral it becomes to Picard's character. I love how 'scars' stayed with characters, and the role they played as the show went on.
Yeah, Picard and Guinan wrestling with how to handle Hugh was really interesting.

Man I'm getting tired of Ferengi. They're like an entire race of Snidely Whiplashes, bunch of doofy mustache-twirling dinguses.
Yeah, they weren't really sure what to do with them until DS9. Don't worry, they become less prominent in TNG, especially once the ***snnnkkgghhh*** NO CARRIER

Yeah I'm on the s6 episode where Picard and a couple others get turned into kids (and man there is no way the teenage Picard is a good choice for young Patrick Stewart), and I'm noticing they're showing up less and less often, thankfully.

Okay I can accept a lot of corny effects, but these are obviously not Picard's hands and it looks super awkward.
You know, I never noticed that. What I did notice was that the notes didn't change when the fingering changed, or that they would change when the fingering didn't.
I can't say I'm surprised it managed such a high price.
It was expected to go for between $800-$1200 if you look at the catalog.
Fun fact. I own one of those catalogs. I used to own two, but gave one as a gift.

All that headline is missing is a line about telling me how to feel.

The head of CBS had said that all their freshman shows were being renewed before the EW list of shows came out. Poorer rated shows were renewed by CBS so baring a budget issue they probably are still working on the details.
