I can relate. My last day as a library sub is supposed to be tomorrow, but I've basically been told if I don't think I'll be needed I don't need to come in.I am going on vacation next week and I have serious vacation-itis at work. I don't want to do anything. Tomorrow is going to feel like it's 20 hours long.
I just finished all but one day of work and then am planning to take my boys on a trip to see family. And then my mom says that my dad is showing symptoms of shingles. I sure hope not, because that will not be fun for him and will throw our plans right out the window.I am going on vacation next week and I have serious vacation-itis at work. I don't want to do anything. Tomorrow is going to feel like it's 20 hours long.
After the most recent events, I assume backing up has become one of those things you just automatically do without question.Work's hard drive died. Most critical information was backed up, but still I lost a few important files. Nothing irreplaceable (I think), but it would take a while.
Off-site back-ups even, I imagine. After the most recent events, I assume backing up has become one of those things you just automatically do without question.

One of Canada's rock stars is on a sort of farewell tour right now because of cancer. When you learn four months later that the singer of one of your favorite theme songs Koji Wada is dead! FUCK YOU CANCER!
There are plenty of videos on youtube. I'd link one but the IOC is squashing them as soon as they pop up.
When in fact it appears boneitis was the disease they should've been worried about. And everyone was so worried about the Zika virus.
Thankfully it leaves victims with very few regrets. When in fact it appears boneitis was the disease they should've been worried about.
Just the one, really.Thankfully it leaves victims with very few regrets.
This is the correct response.Football starts saturday
Here's hoping it doesn't overload your circuits.Grandma will be here in a few hours, so I have to drive to Pittsburgh to pick up a new air conditioner for her bedroom. There wasn't one to be found anywhere from Bluefield to Morgantown, and I was lucky to find the one I did.
That's another story there. The house was rewired since it was built, but there are still a few old style 2-prong only outlets still in place. And they never filled out the sheet on the breaker box. I had to go figure that out for myself. Here's hoping it doesn't overload your circuits.

You're gonna need to air out the books, outside. It's... time consuming and not fun.A friend was dumping a lot of....mediocre fantasy books. So I went by and picked up about two dozen of them. Maybe three dozen. okay, okay, I had a car trunk full of books. *sigh*. BOOKS!
Anyway, I've now began reading them again (no, Feist isn't exactly world-shatteringly great all of a sudden. Still fun for a quick romp to get the mind off of things). And it's...well, quite obvious the guy has cats.
As in, every time I open a book, two pages in, I'm sniffling. Two chapters in, my eyes are running and I have to stop reading.
GAH WHAT TORMENT IS THIS LOTS OF BOOKS AND I CANT READ THEM GRAH.

See, this is the first helpful suggestion. For a certain definition of helpful, of course.Just wear a full-face PPE-C APR mask when reading them, easy-peasy.
