Absolutely. The tooth fairy thing is awful.Channel Zero: Candle Cove
Okay, I'm in for this. The creepypasta has legs.
I really enjoyed the Grinder. This is a weird point to make, but I think I've reached an equilibrium with how I juggle watching every-fucking-show. I mostly watch network stuff week-to-week, and cable/prestige shows I watch in several episode chunks at once or even whole seasons.
More specifically - The Grinder was totally off my radar, but I watched the first three episodes on Netflix and laughed my butt off. Then, of course, found out it was mercilessly cancelled.
Of the people I know that have watched it, you are in the minority of not liking it. Personal taste and all thatWas it cancelled so mercilessly though? I mean, any show that has a character as GUT WRENCHINGLY annoying as Ethan is gonna be on the chopping block. Wanted to smack that kid.
BUT-there was at least enough good in this pilot season that a second one could redeem it.
i mean. yes? it's at least more okay / less bizarreIt's only okay to hate fictional child characters on successful sitcoms. Like Full House.
and better musicI wasn't really sure I'd like the Scream TV series, but it's actually not bad so far. It's basically any CW superhero show, but with a slasher movie theme instead of capes and powers.
GRAH-missed another one, what is WRONG with me?God I love the B99 Halloween episodes.
TNT is gonna be pissed though, I think. They've been the CW rerun station for a long time and this is going to hurt them.Netflix and CW have reached a deal that will allow NF to stream new seasons only eight days after a season finale. That's amazing.
Ehh... their original stuff is okay. Librarians is basically a PG version of Supernatural. Fallen Skies was basically The Walking Dead But With Aliens. But yes, it mostly exists to air reruns of dramas at this point.I didn't realize TNT was still around. Looking up their show list, I can see why I lost track of them.
FlashYeah but... there's like three or four CW shows in all its history that are worth watching.
Hrm. I must respectfully disagree with some of the items on your list, but I do not begrudge you your enjoyment of them.Flash
iZombie
Supergirl
Supernatural
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
I mean, 5 shows currently worth watching on one network is pretty good, I'd say. I've heard Legends of Tomorrow is alright but I still have to finish the first season.
I would say this would be Buffy, Angel, Gilmore Girls, and Veronica Mars for me, if we're counting CW as the merger of the WB and UPN.Yeah but... there's like three or four CW shows in all its history that are worth watching.
I was surprised with the most recent season, it was pretty good all-around. I've come to expect about a 50/50 ratio of good to suck, but I'd put the last one at like 80/20.Supernatural needs to end soon. It's not BAD, in fact it can be quite good still. But it's only a matter of time until it goes full suck.
I like CW a lot, but a lot of times their stuff is too CW for my taste, if that makes any sense. All of their shows have the same production look, which is hard to explain, and it can get to be overloading if you watch a lot of them.Dramas

um.
I haven't seen the two new shows, but I think the CW is actually the best network (NETWORK! NOT CABLE) as far as hit/miss ratios go. They're a little helped by not having to fill as much time as ABC/CBS/NBC, but
