[Movies] The DC Cinematic Universe - The David Zazlav Dumpster Fire.

Yeah, I don't see Ezra Miller as being the weak point of the movie. He looked really likable in the Justice League pseudo trailer.

I'd much rather have a Flash TV show than a Flash movie.

I'll also point out that having a director change because of creative differences doesn't really mean anything.

But how good could it have been WITH Wright? We'll never know.

*grabs you by the shirt, shaking you violently* WE'LL NEVER KNOW.
Honestly, I don't think it would have been as good, but then, Edgar Wright's 50/50 for me. I liked Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz. I couldn't watch Scott Pilgrim vs The World and I didn't like The World's End.

Creative differences

Director: In this scene I want Flash to smile as he runs past the villain who is seemingly moving in slow motion.
WB: NO SMILING! NO JOKES! People like GRIMDARK!!!!
Director: What about Marvel movies? They have an occasional joke and smile.
WB: Nobody watches that crap! It's all just a media bias to make us look bad!
Director: Uh... I quit.

DC: This movie is going to be YUUUGE. We have the best movies, believe me.

How would you make it even edgier than what they've got now? Does the Flash do drive-by gropings while he's moving at super speed?

I'm just imagining that whenever he runs fast "Crawling" by Linkin Park is playing. I know thats not necessarily edgy, but I like the image.

It certainly looks better than the rest of them. The tone seems fine, and the bleak photgraphy fits the time period (also, it seemed to have a bit more color than both Superman movies)

It does look promising. Here's hoping this DC film delivers.

Anyway, here's my guess on the villains: I'm betting Ares is the main villain, while Dr. Poison is the secondary villain (considering the emphasis they gave to WWI chemical weapons in that trailer).

This would be a good time to use Vandal Savage as well... then they can bring him back for the Justice League Movie.

The music sounds like it was inspired by Halo, except for that Immigrant Song bit at the end.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing.

They both have high to low and low to high movement--you could pick hundreds of songs that have that. Rhythm, bass, even the notes aren't the same. Again to the Witcher/Fleetwood Mac and the Sia/Adelle, it's making me wonder if something in you isn't processing distinctions in sound, like an audio version of prosopagnosia.

I understood exactly what he was referencing. It's the vocals.
