I think the term got corrupted.. When Romney originally said "corporations are people" he meant "corporations are made up of people," and then someone got the big idea to "holy shit, what if we treated a corporation like a legally individual person" and things just got stupid from there. I've long said, if a corporation is a person, then it should be illegal for a corporation to own another corporation. That, and I'd believe a corporation is a person when Texas puts one to death :p

Well, the mail is reporting that the trump gremlins tweeted "we haven't made up our mind about SoD yet," which is true. But it stops there, whereas CNN says it has an inside source that says Mattis is in, despite the tweet.

Mattis might be out. A Democratic Senator says he will block the nomination, because he has not been retired from the military long enough.

Which kinda sucks, because he sounds like he's perfect for the job.

As fascinating as this discussion on rating censorship is, can we talk about real problems related to this thread? Like how I said I worried how this election was going to color people perception of my Taiwanese/Chinese family, and one of the FIRST things our PEOTUS does is kick the hornets' nest that is Taiwan-China? Yep, so happy to see the direction this is going. Things have worked out so well for anyone vaguely Middle-Eastern looking in the last 15 years. Nothing to worry about here.
