Jed Whedon needs to direct more. Last nights episode was fantastic. It's going to be interesting seeing old faces in the Framework.
Ah! I knew she looked familiar! I never watched Galavant, but we have commercials for it on some of the things I've DVR'd for Li'l Z.
Ah, yes... i knew those evil eyes looked familiar.
She does know how to play a stone cold heartless bitch, doesn't she...

I'm still watching, but I'm almost never caught up, and only watch erratically. I love the show, but my ability to sit down and focus on anything is intermittent.
Season 3 was okay. I honestly didn't really like the finale. Felt there was more they could have done, plus some of the characters just felt meh, like Joey and Lincoln. This season has felt way more solid, though it can be weird switching storylines so quickly from Ghost Rider to LMD to Matrix knockoff.
Mind wiped?
Her and Simmons went in intentionally, she never had her mind wiped like those taken by Aida. Her reactions were surprise by seeing Ward and trying to play along with him since she knows this is what the Framework is assuming her life would be.
Not sure if anyone else has been watching, but...
Does anyone else have a feeling that Grant Ward is going to come back to the show officially?
Hear me out here. They already explained that the Framework basically runs off the entire internet and has no core server. There isn't a single "switch" you can pull and the whole thing shuts down. As far as we know, the Framework will exist forever at this point unless every computer in the world goes down. We also know, based on LMD May, that artificial AI, when given proper "memories", can do the right thing in the end, regardless of programming. It's implied that all the AI in the framework were given proper memories, meaning to them, they all grew up and experienced life as any other sentient being. This goes back to Ward, who in this reality loves Daisy so much, he is actually undermining HYDRA. They could pull another switch-a-roo and have him turn out to be a villain again, but I find it refreshing to have an honest Ward that isn't beholden to the mistakes of the actual living, breathing Ward of past seasons.
Now you are probably asking, what happens when they save everyone from the Framework? Will it be left behind and forgotten? I don't think so, for one, so that Mack can keep his virtual daughter (otherwise I think the episode he leaves her forever will kill me, literally kill me), and two, bring Ward back to the team. "But wait..." you are asking, "How would this Ward be any use to the real world when stuck in the Framework?" Well duh...
LMDs.
Each of them are basically just programming. If the Framework Radcliff isn't killed, he could feasibly tell the others how to make his cyber-brains. Link that cyber-brain up to the Framework, and it's basically a REVERSAL of the process. Grant hooks up to some device in the Framework, and pilots an LMD body around as an Agent of Shield. Talk about a possible wacky redemption arc.

Still watching. If Grant comes back, it's going to be as a LMD or some other double.
I actually disagree. I mean yes, it's hard to top Ghost Rider, but the second half of the LMD pod and the new Framework pod is way more engaging for me.
Bit scared, because the synopsis of tonight's episode "No Regrets" makes me think that we are going to find out that Fitz knows more about what is happening then he lets on, and that a lot of what he is doing might be more of his own choice then we realize. It will break my heart if Fitz goes full villain because he ends up preferring the world of the Framework.
The social commentary about recent events is pretty thick this pod. They even had a Elizabeth Warren reference, while Fitz and Aida are talking about how they beat Daisy to within an inch of her life, Fitz closes out with "Nevertheless, she persisted".
I think what makes Fitz so terrifying compared to other past villains is that you can still see Fitz underneath the skin. It's not that his brain was completely altered or that he was actually someone else the whole time like S1 Ward, he still has the same traits and overall values he did in the real world, but the removal of his regret (not following in his fathers shoes) completely changed how he sees the world and what he sees are necessary or just. It reminds us that all of us can be drastically different with only a single change in our lives at some point, turning a sensitive, caring man into a cold-blooded killer. I was just happy they showed the scene of him questioning his murder of Agnes, because I needed to see that this Fitz still had some empathy left deep down, a chance to change, otherwise I was going to be bummed.

The relationship between Fitz and his dad shows us just how romantic, lovable, brilliant, awkward Fitz became murderous, sadistic, authoritarian Fitz - during his childhood his father beat the empathy and kindness out of him.
Also this gives us a very interesting way to bring back favorites (Ward, Tripp) and even Hope, Mack's daughter.

So guys... it looks like Ward coming back might even be crazier then I thought...
Either way, the last episodes are going to be crazy.
The last episode revealed the purpose of Project Looking Glass, and it basically will allow Aida, using Eli's Darkhold technology and the Framework, the ability to pass through into the real world into a flesh and blood body (ohhhhh NOW I get project name... haha)
The thing is, it's not likely Aida will succeed, as such would mean the death of all the agents, since her programming is the only thing preventing her or the Superior from hurting them. However, it's unlikely such a plot point would happen without someone using the device by the end of the season. My theory is that it will be either Ward (allowing all the dramatic tension of having a good guy Ward on the team will bring) or it will be Hope, since having her lost at the end of the season would be a huge tragedy for Mack. A lot of people want Tripp back too, but I don't think he will, since the actor supposedly has another show coming up soon.

I thought Season 4 was going to suck but I was sorely mistaken. The LMD / Framework plot was actually really strong.
My only issue, and maybe it's just my own sensibilities, but Aida didn't feel like the climax. It killed her off rather quickly and then the rest of the episode was making sure to get Mack out before the Framework was deleted entirely. I had a similar problem with Agent Carter Season 2, in which the threat of the main enemy was sort of a throw away moment as she was instantly caught in the trap and de-powered before she even had a chance to really use it. Aida got a little more time to shine at least with the whole Simmons fake out, but then the trap was sprung and, well, fwoosh.
A few other disappointments was no Frameword Ward in the final three episodes. Really felt like he should have had at least one more moment (and now he is, technically, dead, which is kind of sad.)

I was hoping that they'd use the machine to bring Good Ward, Tripp, and Hope to the real world.

So, instead of premiering Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last week, they're delaying it until Inhumans finishes it's run? That's frustrating, and I'm not even sure it's true, since ABC's site doesn't say anything about schedules. How do they expect people to watch their shows if no one knows when they're going to be available?
