I was dropped off because pain meds and driving aren't a good combination, so I was kind of stuck there. I don't understand why someone would ask what you like on your pizza and then ignore you? Or completely ignore a dietary restriction? The weird thing is that when I'm with my parents at their place and they order pizza, they usually order deluxe pizzas with mushrooms, peppers, onions and olives so I don't know what was up with the all meat pizzas tonight unless my uncle really loves that kind or they were screwing with me?
I go out of my way to make sure food allergies, and even preferences, are accommodated for my guests, so I was annoyed. My uncle looked over at my plate and the mountain of sausage and ground god-knows-what piled on it and was a bit puzzled, so I explained why I picking everything off it. I felt I had to explain it, because I was embarrassed to be sitting there like a two year old picking off pretty much all the toppings. I can eat some bacon and not have it bother me so I didn't pick off all the meat. Based on how things have gone later this evening, it wasn't bacon
I feel even more embarrassed re-reading what I've just typed out. It's a foolish situation all around and not even the most immature behavior that my mother exhibited tonight. I know it's a free country and all, but just because we have free speech doesn't mean that you are required to always share every little opinion that enters your head. Especially when you know your daughter is on several really scary medications and is unhappy with how weird her hair is acting. Pointing out that you hate it, find my new hair colour ugly (one of my new medications makes my hair weird and its not taking colour properly) and prefer my natural hair colour is not only rude, but pretty hurtful. Trust me when I say that she would flip her shit if I told her that she had bad hair.
Sorry
@blotsfan you got a lot more a reply there than you were expecting, am I right?[DOUBLEPOST=1496989054,1496988854][/DOUBLEPOST]
For what it's worth, I think he felt bad when he realized why I was taking all the meat off my pizza.
