Here is my video, I got some good photos, but no computer for camera transfer while on holiday. I'll try some wireless shenanigans, but everyone might have to wait until I get home next week.

This is somewhat-kinda-not-quite eclipse related: Escape of farmed Atlantic salmon into Pacific blamed on solar eclipse

"Exceptionally high tides" Ya, whatever. Negligence more likely, though given the place has operated for 30 years, maybe not. I dunno.

On the good news front, apparently Atlantic Salmon have never been detected successfully spawning in the Pacific, so it's a short-term problem.

For a rapper whose debut single was called "Unorthodox," Joey Bada$$ isn't one to accept conventional wisdom. Defying widespread warnings, he proudly stared at the solar eclipse without protection.

It didn't turn out to be a great idea. The rapper cancelled three shows starting Wednesday as he complained about his vision.

Maybe - now hold on a second, I know this may seem crazy - but maybe, what he needed to do, was learn the difference between "conventional wisdom" and scientifically proven fact dispensed by - and on behalf of - certified medical professionals.

Got back from Tennessee last night, I didn't go blind. We watched the eclipse from the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, great atmosphere, gave out free glasses to everyone coming in. I'll get some pictures and the video that my wife made posted soon.
