If they can't get it, the cats will just push it off the counter. They're mean little bastards like that at times.

I hate fish. My mother used to force us to eat it and she never took the bones out. It was super nasty. I'm barfing in my mouth as I type this.

They're fun to make as well, great kid activity. We made chocolate-filled ones at my elementary school for a holiday (end of Lent, I think?).

Figuring out how to use a grill (dad doesn't like company when BBQing, so I never learned). Sockeye salmon, skirt steak, and some zucchini.
Ham, baked beans, and biscuits with my mom's biscotti for dessert. Oh yeah.

I made garlic shrimp with rice and broccoli. Mom made a pumpkin roll for dessert. I think this is going to be ranked as one of my favorite meals ever.

Those biscuits are wicked. I’m going to try and learn how to make them.
You can start by buying them from Costco. No shit, for at least a while (maybe still do? Haven't looked) they sold an officially-branded Red Lobster kit to make them. All the dry stuff, no cheese either (for obvious reasons), and the procedure is there.
So make that, then de-construct it. You'll be pretty close.
