Infinity War: SPOILER THREAD LIVES AGAIN

So the question I have is - did Thanos know the joy of bubbles, to create them with the reality stone? Or did starlord perceive them as bubbles because that's what his brain comprehended? I don't think the stones can read minds (at least not all of them), but then again if it's perception, then is the movie shot, in that scene, from one person's perspective, or is everyone sharing one person's perspective?

I vote Thanos turned them into bubbles because he knew of bubbles as a child and chose for everyone to perceive them as such, but it does make me wonder...

Look, I'm sorry but I'm still under an NDA until spring 2019 so I really can't comment on my - our my brothers' - role in Infinity War pts 1 and 2.

Ah ha! So we know the Bubbles will appear in part 2, which means you survived the snap!

SPOILER ALERT EVERYONE! Some Bubbles survived the snap! Bubbles to play a key role in defeating Thanos in Avengers 4! Possible romance arc for Bubbles in the next Avengers film, possibly involving Black Widow! Unless Black Widow dies in Avengers 4! You heard it first here, everyone, Black Widow might die in Avengers 4!

That's not accurate. Spider-Man in the latest incarnation is a fucking wuss. All he does is get the shit kicked out of him and he has to be saved by Iron Man. So depicting him as a tough guy is inaccurate.

A comment on Imgur about why criminals don't shoot Batman in the face has me wondering: Instead of pulling off the Infinity Gauntlet, could Doctor Strange have just cut off Thanos's arm by closing a portal on it?

Quite possibly, I think. As for why he didn't try it, I think the simplest explanation is that it wasn't how events played out in the one successful scenario he saw out of fourteen million.

Maybe the argument is that Dr. Strange is still uncomfortable with doing harm due to his Hippocratic oath?

I also wonder if that trick would work on someone possessing the space gem.
But would it have to be conscious effort, or does it provide passive protection? The answer is clearly: "whatever the writers decide it requires" but I'm still curious as to just what Strange can cut in half with a closing portal, and just how resistant to damage Thanos is. He's not invulnerable, even if it did take Stormbreaker to cause serious damage.

Unless, I"ve missed something, having the power gem and gauntlet was why Thanos actually was able to Ragdoll the Hulk?
I don't think the Hulk was at the same power level he was at pre-Sakaar. Even when Thor fought him in the arena, I don't think he was as powerful as he's been in the past. I suspect his time as a champion cooled his rage some, most likely because he felt safe and in-control.

Then he got his ass handed to him by Thanos, and fear is why he's been refusing to come out. Fear that could end up fueling a bigger surge of anger than ever before. I think when we see the Hulk finally emerge again, he's going to be at the most powerful we've seen him.

I spend way to much to go to the movies anymore.

We pay for the 19+ Canadian "I want to pretend we are the Alamo" age gated theatre. Mostly because people actually shut the fuck up.

Every movie I've seen lately when we've gone to the less expensive unrestricted theatres has had some negative experience caused by another patron.

That said with food in those theatres and tickets, we're looking at almost $100 for a night out. Canadian monopoly fun money but still.

I get a giant soda and sip it slowly the whole movie so I don't have to leave half way. Other than that, I can usually resist the food.

Most of the time if I want to see a movie in the theater, I have to go to a morning matinee* after I drop Li'l Z off at school. It is way too early for popcorn and soda. When I saw Deadpool 2, I brought a apricot scone and a pomegranate iced tea, which at the time I thought was an odd choice for that movie, but then realized Deadpool would probably approve.

*No, @PatrThom, not a manatee.

Also, in an attempt to explain but not justify, movies are our one date night thing and have a pretty big significance for us in that we met while working in a theatre together and we make it a point to go all out for them.

It's our thing and I will never regret it.

Landmark has opened up an awesome recliner only theater in my little suburb. It's where I prefer to go all the time now. It's not 19 plus, but it's not the bustling megaplex that are the giga-sized Cineplex Odeons, so smaller crowds. Also the theaters holds like half as many people at capacity anyway.

Not according to your browser history for PornTube.
Nick! Dude! You can't just check someone's porn history like that. That's private. I bet you wouldn't like it if someone looked at your porn history...

Okay, I never knew skeeball could be a fetish, but those are not holes I expected one to roll the ball into.
