[Informational] So you've been bitten. What now?

Found on the official Empyrion servers a great image showing the way that diseases or injuries progress. Thought you all would find it interesting.

Crazily enough, it's widely accepted that the best cure is to just let yourself die and respawn in the same place. You get your gear and lose the effect without spending any resources. That is, if you aren't a person like me who HATES to die.

Apparently you can also build medical in an HV whereas you can't in an SV. Which makes no sense to me.

They desperately do everything they can to nerf SVs so that people will actually build HVs. If SVs could have turrets, mining lasers, and health stations, nobody would build an HV, ever.

That's because, in most situations (especially PVE), the death penalty is much too light in this game, TBH. In Space Engineers, if you didn't have anywhere to respawn, there was no "respawn in the same location" option, you just had to start over again from nothing, and lost ownership of all your structures/ships.

Of course, in this game, there'd always be a safe location to respawn, it just might be the local trade station or something. But at least the trip back would still be punishment.

Do you have a direct link to this image somewhere else, since the forum has decided to blur-ify it down to 1000px, and since the Empyrion forum requires a sign-up before it will allow me to see it there?
