I thought the cleanup scene was in the book... And sang the same song while tidying up... I have strange memories of books that I've read 4 times.
Printed and framed the top left in poster size for my WfH office a while back, good stuff.
I have to work with a client who has 4, 6, 9 (omg 9, but horrifically wrong and useless), and 11 as chronic issues.
He's also never heard of the principal of keeping your code "DRY" (Don't Repeat Yourself). There's always some boilerplate. He seems to see boilerplate as a POSITIVE.
It's "fun"
I take offense at number 8. Mayo is lots of things, but it certainly isn't "the most American of foodstuffs". It isn't originally American, it isn't used only our exclusively in American cuisine, it isn't best known as "American", and unlike, say, hot dogs, pizza or hamburger, all of which aren't American either, there isn't even a meaningful change between the original and the American version.
