Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

I doubt he’s doing it at their behest, he just can’t tell (or refuses to even consider) that he’s being manipulated.

I really think Pat's partially right. I think that Trump is being used but thinks he's too smart to be used or manipulated. So it's another "why not both" thing.
I'll grant that he may be egotistical enough to think that he's gotten the better of them, but it's pretty clear the Russians have compromising intelligence about Trump, and that they've used that as leverage to attempt to force him to do things. Dolt45 knows that Russia is trying to manipulate him, and that he's done things that they've asked him to do.

I think it's more that he doesn't think it's wrong. He seems to be certain that because he is doing it, everyone else is, too, which he sees as further justification to continue doing it.

Also, while it sure sounds a lot better than the same content would from the president's mouth, I strongly disagree with the content. While anonymous sources can be an easy way to say pretty much whatever the hell you want, they're also essential in many ways. Whistle blowing, exposing criminal acts to the public, etc are often very dangerous for the individual doing it, especially in the beginning.

Normally the HCGLNS is not this petty, but the juxtaposition of Kelly-Anne Conways teeth to the rest of her face is startling.

Random Thought(s) of the Moment.

So, it turns out that Orson Scott Card . . . (I hope @stienman's chill where ever he be) . . . should've had Peter and Valentine do exactly the opposite of what they did to gain power. Sway the dumbest minds on Television.

This shit is hilarious.

Also for a guy that talks so much about "Fake News" and with supporters that accuse people of being crisis actors in tragedies, it really makes my blood boil when the kid, Tyler Linfesty, basically pointed out they wanted him to wear a MAGA hat and cheer at everything the president said, and when he didn't, they threw him out of the venue entirely and then replaced him and his friends with pretty women. Yes, SO FUCKING GENUINE.

So, Trump is lying about the economy now:

It's not been 100 years since that happened. It's been 12, and it's happened in at least 62 quarters of the last 70 years (source). And those numbers don't have any direct connection.

Hey guys! With fall coming and the weather cooling off, this October we can expect the temperature in Washington to fall lower than Dolt45's IQ for the first time in 6 months!

Ok so Omarossa just released a recording she made of a high security meeting where the four American soldiers slain in Niger were discussed. cheeto is cracking jokes about the soldiers.

So what is worse, people taping intelligence briefings and releasing them to the public or laughing at the deaths of soldiers in your command. Or that we are at a point where this question could even be asked.

Both things point to a fucking disaster in the White House.

THIS TOO, SHALL PASS.

When things are bad, remember:
It won't always be this way.
Take one day at a time.

When things are good, remember:
It won't always be this way.
Enjoy every moment.

I made the mistake a few hours ago of going to Trump's twitter account and reading the replies. Holy F-bomb, that's.....that's something else over there, alright.

I don't know how you guys exist without constant protests/riots.

I remember when Katrina was an absolute clusterfuck, that's what finally turned Bush supporters against Bush. They realized the administration did not have their backs.

I don't expect that to happen now to Trump.

Of course not. Any media saying Trump or his administration fucks up are lying and fake, and all those people whose houses might get destroyed or family members hurt/killed/displaced are just actors, dontyouknow.

The same people who didn't care much about the black people in Louisiana won't give two shits about the brown people in Puerto Rico. Besides, helping Puerto Rico is spending American money on foreign countries... (Yes, that's what a lot of them believe.)

I think this is more about the perceived soon-to-be disaster that Florence is going to subject NC, SC, GA, VA, FL, and potentially MD and DE than about last year's crisis in PR.
