They're rarer than a unicorn, but they're there. One time out of a thousand, but they're there.Walmart doesn't have the bi-level carts. Those are usually at your Krogers or other chain supermarkets.

We have those here too. The US 'standard' cart size has grown to the point where you can fit several dead bodies in it, if you want. I often take the smaller size, because I want more than a hand basket will hold, but I am not buying a full-size elephant for dinner and I don't want to invest in pitons and climbing gear to get down into the cart to get my groceries.I've seen those two levels when I was in the US, but they don't exist here. Just take a basket instead of a cart of you don't have much!
I do remember noticing that the "full" carts were indeed a lot bigger in the US than our normal ones. Our "big"ones are just flatbeds for stacking stuff, similar to the ones in DiY stores and stuff. We have those here too. All joking aside, the "small" cart is about as big as the "standard" cart was when I was a kid.
Possibly illegal, depending on how she's doing it and what state you each live in.Found out today my ex is secretly recording my private FaceTime calls with my daughter.
California. Pretty sure it’s illegal. My visits are unmonitored, granted by the court. The only reason we are doing FaceTime is due to Covid, otherwise I get full days on the weekend with her in person.Possibly illegal, depending on how she's doing it and what state you each live in.
Just FYI.

I have already contacted him.Lawyer. NOW.
Good. She's a toxic, malicious person and you need to take the nuclear option with herI have already contacted him.
That's good to hear, because:I have already contacted him.
California. Pretty sure it’s illegal.
There's also the additional layer of whether your daughter is even legally of age to even give consent to have herself recorded, which could conceivably change this from "recording without consent" into full-blown "wiretapping" since neither party has given consent and the person recording the call is not even a participant. Some quick Internet sleuthing said:It’s okay to record conversations that take place in person or over the phone. In most states, only one party needs to give consent for recording. Eleven states require two-party consent. In other words, everyone involved in a conversation must agree to be recorded. Those states are, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington.
She's been a pretty nasty person through all of this. Abusive marriage and even now mid-divorce she's making it challenging to be part of my daughter's life. She's a text-book narcissist. I had hopes for the boyfriend but she's probably doing to him what she did with me: Try and make her exes seem like vile villains and that lying for her is actually the right thing to do.Good. She's a toxic, malicious person and you need to take the nuclear option with her
Pretty much all of us right now...
What the hell? That doesnt sound right."Szechuan bean curd" != mapo tofu. What I got was fried tofu chunks with veggies in a sweetish sauce. Not spicy at all. Not impressed.
Didn't look like that, and yes it was a Flyover Country Chinese restaurant. It was mostly broccoli and baby corn mixed in with the tofu. What the hell? That doesnt sound right.
So it didn't look like this?
Was this a "US-style" Chinese restaurant? Alternatively, I've had to tell places to give actually give me stuff spicy, because they assume Americans generally don't like spicy food.
Ooooh mama that looks scrumptious...What the hell? That doesnt sound right.
