WORDLE

As someone who does not speak Comanche, what am I missing, here?
"[Comanche] for 5-Letter Words"
"Not Wordle 39 2/6"
"[eyes] wut?"
"[Good to know!]"
"lol"

I'm not sure there's a deeper meaning beyond "They are using Wordle to help a dying language, neat!" and "Haha, Facebook is broken."

I can understand some of the choices. I mean, I think it's ridiculous to remove Pussy or Slave, but I can understand the reasoning even if I don't agree.
But what the everloving bananaboat is wrong with Agora? Or Fibre?

I must be overthinking these or something.

I think I've struggled more to get this one than any previous word on either Lewdle or Wordle. Freaking triple letter.

I feel like everything since the switch to NYT website has been but that might just be confirmation bias.

Wordle 240 4/6

I mean, I'm still getting it, but damn, the words definitely seem to be less common words than previous. The wife said "F this, I don't want to spend all morning puzzling it out, I liked it being a 5 minute escape"

I think it's just chance. MindDetective previously posted a link showing the game has years worth of answers already hard coded. I have a copy of the game saved to my computer from before the switch, and today's answers matched.

Yeah that's why I said likely just confirmation bias. I knew the upcoming answers were already mined but didn't want to go poking around to check.

Thought I'd give it a try once because I keep seeing this thread in my "new posts" filter. I won. 100% win streak. Now I can never play again, or risk breaking breaking my perfect score.

According to ArsTechnica, the words list essentially unchanged except for a small handful of racially or sexually insensitive terms.

There’s a lot of people pissed about todays word. I got it in 4 but I’m apparently an exception. A lot of people don’t even know it’s a real word.

Got it in 5. How do you not know it's a real word? I mean, it wasn't immediately evident for me either but I'm aware of its existence.

I think the middle letter messed people up.
Just checking....What other letter would people expect there? Or do you mean that Americans would expect that word without the -u-? They're totally different words.

I also got it in four, but could have easily gotten it in 3.

I knew it would have to be either Chalk or caulk and guessed chalk first because it's more common

You can tell some people
have never had to work on their own bathroom.
Yeah, makes me think Wordle's player base skews young.

Warning! Spoilers in the article.

I'm more confused about yesterday's apparent answer.

Amora/agora

What? I know I did yesterday's, and that was not the answer.
