It’s not just you, there’s been way more. I had heard the creator had like a 5 year queue of words but I think when they took over, NYT made their own and that they’re actively trying to ruin as many streaks as possible

The Hyrule currency was named after the Indian currency, which has its word roots going back into ancient times.

Sure, since the indian word is rūpya. So it's the english word for an indian currency. (also pakistan, sri lanka and some other countries)

It was close for me. Seemed like such a weird word but I couldn't think of anything else that it could be luckily.
The longer I watch this the madder I get. It's a common expression!
