If the species name is Great Dragon, then it doesn't violate the rule as "Great" is part of the Noun (as the name). You can have a "great green Great Dragon", but not a "green great Great Dragon". And even as part of a name adjectives follow the rules (Great White Shark (good) vs White Great Shark (BAD!))I still disagree with the green great dragons bit at the end, though. It depends on if you're saying it's just a particularly great dragon that is green, or a green example of the species with the common name of Great Dragon, as opposed to a drake or wyvern or whatever.
