Trump’s allies face a tall order in getting the commission to investigate DeSantis, considering he appointed five of the nine members.

Having an "ethics commission" investigate someone who appointed more than half them itself sounds like an ethics violation to me, but I guess that kind of stuff doesn't apply.
I guess a group who thinks DeSantis is a moderate has somewhat different points of view from me, anyway.

I think Trump and DeSantis will wind up destroying each other in the process, with a third candidate (like Pence) quietly taking it.
