I’m not a huge beer drinker but I’m amazed at how drinkable the beers at the (American) Hofbrahaus are. You get that pitcher and it seems like an insane amount but then you drink it pretty comfortably.

Most of the beers here are quite drinkable. They have flavor but aren't overly experimental like micro breweries in the US. The Augistiner Brau was probably the best of the big 6 Octoberfest sponsors. Haven't had a beer I didn't like though.

Maybe a bit of both? He is a beast and I was sitting way back in the chair. I was trying to crochet a project for a friend and he needed to « help » me.

Yeah at the moment she can only go a foot or so before she has to stop but I know its not gonna be long until we cant keep track of her.

My sister loves telling anecdotes about me causing trouble as a wee one.

We lived at a small, ground level house on a quiet street. Apparently, I would climb out the living room window and run down the street to go see a neighbor's dalmatian.

More often than not, I was also buck naked doing so. :D

You didn't want the dalmatian to feel over-dressed. That's very thoughtful!

For some reason that seems like the perfect story for you.

My mom swears up and down that when I started crawling, I would only do it backwards. I only started going forward when I started to walk.

I was a weird kid.
You are not alone; there is a whole episode of Bluey about that.
...which I can no longer watch, because it makes me sob like a baby.

She’s been going backwards for a few weeks now. The milestone yesterday was going forward. Granted her moving backwards was more of a sliding than a crawl.

When I was studying child development during my Education degree, I found it fascinating that toddlers either learn how to walk first or talk first. They never learn both at the same time. It's like they have enough brain capacity at that age to focus squarely on developing one skill before the other.

I love asking parents if they remember if their child walked or talked first.
