Can't upload pics since the changeover

I tried to re-upload my shrimp masala pics, and got the "oops! Something went wrong!" error. I tried to just paste the pic into the message body from the clipboard (my most common method in the past) and also clicked the 'insert picture' link in the message input, and browsed to a copy on my hard drive. Both had the same issue.

Dragging the pic into the browser window has been working for me. I haven't gone back to the file picker since the last changeover introduced so many issues.

Just tried that...didn't work. I'm on firefox, dunno if that makes a difference. I'll try some other troubleshooting tomorrow.

Just tried it with FF71 on WinX and had no issues. Dragged a .PNG into this window and had it upload just fine.
Gonna recommend checking your scripting settings and/or blockers.

Only blocker I have is Ublock Origin, which is turned off for HF. I have made literally no changes between last week and this week.

The file uploads--i get the uploading dialog and progress bar that moves up to 100%. When it hits 100%, I get the "oops, we ran into a problem" dialog.
I'll continue to troubleshoot later today after work.

Dragging into the text field:

Hey, a board issue that doesn't affect me! Neat!

Sorry to be unhelpful, I was just trying whether all variatons work for me

Lookit y’all and your mad troubleshooting skillz. Makes me proud. *sniffle* Why can’t the people I deal with be just as talented?

At least support for WEBP is spreading. My phone will let me attach it to texts, Windows built-in photo viewer has been able to display it for a while (though I'm not sure if supports animated/video webp yet). And there's a plug-in to let Irfanview handle it.

Still a damn annoying format, but then PNG support used to suck as well.
