[NHL] 2023-2024 This time for sure NHL season!

Watching the Preds Lightning right now, and during the power play, when ever you got the puck a thought bubble appears over the player with their name? This is bizzaro world!

Barf, read an article about tax implications and the salary cap. Teams with low tax rates in their states/provinces/country win the cup about 80% of the time. Since it was a Canadian article, they explained that there is little hope for any Canadian team to ever win the cup. Winning the cup requires depth, and depth is easily aquired when your star players can be paid less but take home more after taxes, freeing up cap space.

Hard to justify a "Canadian teams have no hope" when Edmonton just went to game 7 of the finals?

Tax law is definitely an advantage, but Canadian media definitely loves to overstate it.

@blotsfan , man I didn’t realize how young the Sabres are this year. They talked about it in the first period while I was watching the Stars broadcast. Looks like you’re building a good core for the next few years.

I've never been less proud to be an American. National Anthem getting mercilessly booed at the 4 Nations Tournament, and extremely rightfully so, because Mr "the world will respect us again" has to be a fat fucking bully and talk about trying to annex the goddamn host nation.

...three fights, less than 10 seconds of game time lmao
