Someone impersonating a web cartoonist is the strangest thing. In person, okay, he can get away with it and maybe impress some ladies. Online, though? Dude’s gonna get caught.

True. Though we may be approaching the time where it makes sense to have some callbacks to the many many lingering plots and Checkhov's wands out there to prepare for things starting to come together and tie up. V's three spirits come to mind, too.

I don't think his alignment would've changed, but his "quest" definitely ended with the rejection that landed him here. All his previous behavior, the same behavior the ghostly trio here finds so attractive, was in service of the fulfillment of that quest. But now that quest line is terminated, and Nale has no incentive to continue that behavior.

I guess they have no idea that this world isn’t even the second, but like the (insert insanely high number here). Cyber Punk Snails have seen more action than this current group. I was hoping for something more complicated from the demons than just the release of the Snarl. At least Red Cloak wants to enslave it as a threat. In fact the demons seem to have the least amount of information amongst the different parties involved, seeing how they assume the snarl won’t just destroy every soul, living or dead
