Went to grill ribs tonight. The grill is old but it's been limping along for a fair bit. The heat plate shields had rusted and two of them had fallen. I never really knew what they were there for. I do now. It prevents the grease and stuff from falling onto the flames and causing a conflagration. Which is exactly what happened. Fire was shooting out of the sides about a foot at one point. I ran in the house and got an extinguisher. I was able to save all but 3 of the ribs but the grill itself is a danger to myself and the neighborhood.

Slight necro to this comment. Kerri has been complaining over lack of grill so I worked a shift or two and picked up a new Blackstone 36” flat griddle. Guy at work helped me get it home. Brought it in. My wife: That’s not a Mother’s Day gift. That for a dad. It’s like you got me a drill.

This from the person who has been complaining since August that we didn’t have one. So I guess I’m just a piece of shit.

If this gets implemented with all banks in Canada, it'll make my job much easier. It's hard to discuss payment arrangements with customers who can only pay through their bank and not a credit card. Depending on the bank, we don't see the payment for at least 3-5 business days. A lot of customers aren't aware of that, so they're shocked when their services are suspended due to non-payments because the payment didn't go through yet.

WELP, I done did drove a guy to the hospital after he cut his arm DEEP when bumping into a lightbulb.

In search for a second medic beforehand (the first was dealing with an allergic reaction), I swiped a chair for the guy to sit down and not move his arm.... and then LATER Zoro comes up ,sees this bloodied guy and asks "Hey, can I get my chair back?"

ALL while the lobby was barely any help with first aid while the manager wanted to clean up the gkass, DELTA AIRPORT AND HOTELS, come for the conventions, stay for incompetent employees!
