I don't believe there was a 4-pack for L4D last December.
Yeah, that is a possibility, but Halforums isn't a charity as-such. Still, hmm...Well, you could give it away to people who donate to HF. Dave could verify it for you, right?
A quick google reveals there was thread on Cheap Ass Gamer talking about pooling money to buy the four-pack back in November of last year. Still, no guarantee Steam will have another amazing post-holiday sale.I don't believe there was a 4-pack for L4D last December.

Especially considering they gave everyone 10% off before the game was even released.[/QUOTE]Still, no guarantee Steam will have another amazing post-holiday sale.

They've also found that sales on Steam increase game sales even after the discount is over, and at retail as well as online.I think they can afford it because they don't have to pay EA for any copies they sell via Steam.
Masterbation is fun too but doesn't compare to the real thing. So would you guys say it's a worthwhile investment for the single player experience?

Which is why you never take noobs along for Expert difficulty... i swear, out of 10 games one looses on Expert 9 are because of FF.I think the most usual newb thing is accidentally shooting other players.

Play Hard Rain. As that rain water starts inching higher and higher, shit gets intense.Honestly, everything about this game is an improvement over the first besides atmosphere (which is only aesthetic of scariness). I've only played Dead Center and The Parish so far, finishing neither unfortunately. The variety in crescendos and finales is fantastic. I have gotten a little lost in a couple maps; you're less herded than in the old campaigns, so it's possible to get lost like in Crash Course.

If Steam is saying it's looking for updates, let it work. It may not seem like it, but it IS downloading the stuff to play. Just let it run for 10-15 minutes.Wow. I can't seem to get any of the updates in order to play. What the fuck?
We all sucked! We'll get better with play. It'll take some time to get used to old tactics not working at all in L4D2.Well.. I sucks balls...... I don't think I can do well in advance. sorry guys. I try so hard but it is WAY different than L4D2 I need more practice.
Yea. Remember when we are on the platform? the spitters spit up there and ruin the whole tactic thing.Yeah, now that Spitters screw with cornering, everyone tends to scramble for cover without a clue, and death follows.
Once, in the demo, a charger killed the whole team by throwing 3 of us from the platform with the alarm off switch, and pummelling the 4th guy to death... seeing how the guy who got pummelled was the only one with enough life not to get downed by being thrown off, i've been wondering it that was just bad luck or an actual AI thing...Of course spitters does make the game interesting (good and bad) and those chargers.... yikes!!
I don't very often, because I'm busy with other games, but I still love playing. Feel free to send an invite. So, anyone still playing the original? I've been having the urge to play this again, and don't want to deal with PUGs off of steam.
