I know many women who do this actually, going totally overboard in Photoshop and making themselves glow so you can't see a single wrinkle anymore.

That effect looks pretty cool on Tegid. As he has long(ish) hair and a beard, he kind of disappears but is still completely recognizable.

Cause a guard rail is taking up 1/5th of the picture, and it's dead center, completely distracting from whatever kind of shot you were trying to take.

Well, I was taking a picture of my feet actually. Which are properly placed according to the rule of thirds . I have better pictures of the Amazon if you want to see them. The guard rail is what my feet are on. I was kicking back enjoying some coconut water from the vendor just behind me. Which I had just ordered in the worst broken Portuguese.
