Okay, huge coincidence time.
I was looking through youtube videos to find some certain music-- related to the SECRETS!! above (so this already started out as a D&D thing). One of the related vidoes was "I Kissed a Girl Metal Remix". Well of COURSE I had to click that, and the pic for the video is this image:
That... That dragon looks kind of familiar.. Huh.
Izzat.. Izzat Grendmir's head?
It sure looks like it..
So I decide to tineye the youtube pic (I'd already tried Grendmir's pog recently out of curiosity, and gotten nothing.) and I get this beast of an image.
Enjoy.
The coincidences are astounding to me.

I've been spending my morning reading a handful of Dragon Magazine articles, which often do exposés on character classes/races/archetypes. Here are a couple that seem helpful, I might most more.

Oh good-- I get to waste a feat on something changelings should get right off the bat. =P
Though I guess there is the one where I can get a +2 to my ability scores somewhere-- which is always nice.

Nah, I was just bitchin' at WOTC for making changelings take a feat for something they should already have. ie, a second @#$%ing language of their choice.

Shawnacy's 4E D&D Game, part 2!
There are so many questions I have about what's coming up in our game that are itching to be answered.
Assuming we get to actually meet Horus Lightborn, the Deva twin-blade specialist, which member of the party do we feel he's related to? Initially I had guessed Adia, but she so longerweilds two blades, nor is a ranger at all. Also, Adia-related events kinda happened in and around Marian Aldarbrush, but looking back, those may have been vampire-related. Could Serin be related to Horus by virtue of their obscure races? or striker tendencies? WHO KNOWS. Could Gaspar be related to Deva, by virtue of his divinity, or would he be more closely related to Dwar Steelgrand, the Dwarven Battlerager? Given that Gaspar joined us late, is he tied into Acererack's plans's at all?
Buhh...
So far the only group member whose had any luck with ancient counterparts has been Saryon, who was able to commune with and receive a gift from Sirius Oathbearer. We met Aldarbrush but I can't say that we're any better for the experience... And all I found was Markus Denelian's tome, and body (apparently). I wonder if his spirit will ever be able to communicate with me, or if that will come at a later point when the tome grows in power again. Which I suspect could be coming soon. I found it at level 1, it spawned Bez at level 2, at level 4 I was able to pull a Fireball out of it, and at level 6 I was able pull a Fireball and a Flaming Sphere out of it. I wonder if something might happen now that I'm level 8, but who knows.

Finally decided my level 10 item.
Winged Dagger +2.
Retrained my Focused Expertise (Dagger) to Jack of All Trades. Finally have some +10s to my skills.
New Feat is Skill Training: Perception, so I can help out some. Probably unnecessary, but I couldn't pick anything else.
I currently have a +10 to attacks and a +11 to damage. Not terrible, I guess. I could easily have +14 with various feats, I guess.
For example, Weapon Focus, Dual Implement Spellcaster, Two-Weapon Fighting..
Finally decided my level 10 item.

Also, rechecking my stuff, looks like the item I got was level 9. I remember rolling like a 7 but still beating Jay, Des and Darryl.
So that means Julie got a level 11 item, Doom got a 10, I got a 9 and Jay should get an 8 in the tiebreaker, if my memory is correct.
