She talked to sister BECAUSE of us. Basically we saved her from making a BIG mistake. She is thankful.

That happened to my sister years ago. Her husband/my brother-in-law was secretly seeing someone else.

My sis didn't find out until the other woman called her to confirm that they were indeed separated, as he had said.

They separated after that, but I guess after a lot of marriage counselling and such, they got back together. Their second daughter was born just this past weekend. Honestly, I still hate the guy for what he did, but I can't deny that he's changed...a little. He's a pilot and flies all over the world, so I trust him about as far as I can throw him.

People can and do change if they value what it is they are set to lose. The fact that your brother-in-law was willing to go to counseling is a huge indication that he was willing to work it out.

Oh, I know that. And he's great with Victoria (their first daughter).

That doesn't mean I have to like him for what he did to my sister. It's something that I've always wanted to confront him about, but never have, so it's just something I've had to deal with on my own.
