I rarely feel at all similar to characters in TV, movies, games, etc. Especially to the character as a whole. Though I will say an episode of Stargate: Atlantis really struck me. In "The Shrine" Rodney McKay slowly looses his memory and mental faculties as the result of a disease. Now, I'm not as smart as McKay, but the fear and anger and frustration onscreen are so much similar to some stuff I've been though. It made me think that it's not just that episode where I have some similarities with McKay.
Brain damage and degredation are some of my greatest fears.
