That really belonged with a [ spoiler ] tag Zumbo.....
She'll be back as an NPC, though. And you can continue your romance with her, if you had it.

I guess the "pure biotic" party member role will be fulfilled by Subject Zero (the pissed off tattoo chick)

Actually... I am pretty sure the pure biotic chick is going to be the new Asari woman, Samara. She pretty much used nothing but her biotic powers to brutalize people in her reveal video. Subject Zero seems more like a Vanguard to me, someone with great biotics but also good with weapons and firearms, which her reveal video showed her using a lot with great proficiency just as much as her biotics.

Maybe...I just thought it would make more sense from a story perspective for the opposite to be true: Subject Zero is apparently the result of a biotics experiment while Samara is part of some sort of Asari law enforcement.

She is a Justicar, which basically means some wandering Asari biotic warrior. I am going mostly off the fact we never see her use weapons and instead is entirely biotics, while Subject Zero is all about gunning things down and using biotics. This is all assumption based on the trailers for each character, though it could be that Samara is a "special" class much like Wrex from ME1 and Subject Zero is the "Adept". Actually that probably makes more sense since Jacob IS a Vanguard, so I don't see Bioware having two Vanguard henchmen.

Man Wrex was awesome.

I wonder what racists I get to kill THIS time! Can't wait!
Kill a racist...oorrr BE a racist...

The tattoo'd character they just announced seems kinda stupid to me, at least in the context she was presented (herp derp I'm a bad girl who swears and wants to bone, I'm a unique snowflake!).
This. That was a stale sterotype in the 90's and it's almost 2010. They could have done a little better.[/QUOTE]

Personally if the option comes up I plan on reupholstering the ship with her brains.

Okay, if you don't want any spoilers, don't hit the link below. They are leaked video of the male shepard sex scenes.

Tali!? They made Tali into one of the sex scene options!? I don't know how I feel right now. One on hand she was always my favorite of the female characters, and I totally would have chosen her over Ash and Liara in the first game. But on the other hand, I think she deserves more then... that...

I'm watching this just because I Want to know how it works. I mean she's in that containment suit and...well...What does she even look like under there?

Wait a minute, how did you get your hands on it already, Terrik? Did it get released early in China or did a retailer jump the gun?

Terrik? Can you hear me?

Dammit, he's too deep in the game...

hehe...my local Chinese gameshop owner ot his copies this morning. How sweet it is. I'll go back to playing now. It kicks a lot of ass. A lot of things changed from the first game to the second, but it works for me.

Without spoilers, I just want some confirmation if FemShep is going to be able to pursue any relationships other than males and/or Liara.

Amazon sent me the e-mail earlier today.

Mass Effect 2 is on the way to my house right noooow!

Edit: It's at a distribution center in Tulsa right now!

Can't seem to get a single real answer on this anywhere. You figured they were would a confirmed word on it or not. (Debating how to set-up my ME1 character for ME2 because of this.)

I don't have a 100% answer, but I am going to say "Yes" because Bioware often balances that type of thing out. It would be a step back from ME1 and Dragon Age if they didn't have at least one alternative lifestyle option.

Wait,
I CANT GET WITH MY LADY TALI!?

Seriously, that's a major downer and why the hell is
Kelly an option but not Miranda or Subject Zero?

Ugh. I'm guessing if you had a relationship with
Ashley or Liara, since they're not main characters anymore, you won't get to woo them some more?

The way I read it was if you had a relationship with a previous character, you can choose to continue it but won't get any additional big romance or sex scenes. They won't join your team either.

I think I'm gonna play my all-female-all-pistols Shephard's Angels team again, and NOT cheat on Liara. The concept of an in-game long-distance relationship seems pretty innovative to me, and I'd like to see it through.

I will bang EVERYBODY in future playthroughs. ;)

It's also kinda odd that we still don't see any male-on-male relationships, but at least the girl-on-girl relationship this time around isn't handwaved as an asexual thing. Is this progress? I don't know!

Well I'll agree that the fem/fem but no man/man relationship is bullshit. Will my Renegade FemShep stay faithful to Liara? I dunno, depends on how interesting the Kelly character is. Though she's not half as "visually interesting" as the other three female choice that MaleShep gets. Oh well.

Only if we get to see the Flotilla. :)

There were so many things in ME that were mentioned but never really elaborated on, and I hope that they get a little more time in ME2. I am avoiding spoilers beyond relationship prospects, much as I did for ME.

Seriously, Tali had the best body out of all the ME1 characters.
Disagree by a long shot. Though she was much more interesting a character. I would have put them Ashley > Liara > Tali (body-wise) Tali > Liara > Ashley (Personality/Likeability)

Funnily enough, I would rank the bodies exactly opposite of how you have them. Tali usually wears a skin-tight environmental suit, which shows off her body nicely. Ashley, on the other hand, is dressed in those baggy military outfits that hide any curves she might have. Sure, she takes them off for the nookie scene, but that's just one glimpse.

As for likability, I thought all three were all right. None of them particularly annoyed me, none of them particularly made me pant. Good characters overall though.

You must not have played through with Ashely as a main character then (personality wise) and bodywise I say because Tali was a "give the bish a sammich" body-type.
