22 replies? 22 replies!?!

V was a crappy show the first time, and its pretty crappy this time around. And yet this gets 22 replies and I can't seem to find anyone here (or elsewhere) that is interested in The Prisoner, which may be the best television experience I have had since...I dunno, Deadwood season 1?
Opinions: everyone has one.

I enjoyed the original (Beastman vs. aliens, come on--it sells itself), and I'm enjoying this one.
Ahem...

Beastman

Beast MASTER

I'll admit it, Beastmaster and Mark Singer were huge components of my coming out to myself when I was younger.

From that same era: I'll admit that seeing a flash of Grace Jones' crotch in Conan the Destroyer was almost enough to make me come out as gay, too ;)

Duh, what miniseries were you watching? Shot from original miniseries:

Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong.

Honestly, at this point I don't really see how they're going to go forward from here.

The deck is *so* stacked in the aliens' favor, that the only way they could possibly fail would be through a series of absurd contrivances.
... yeah, that's pretty much how the original miniseries went too.

Still good eatin!
Yeah, that's kind of the whole point of the series. A ragtag group of freedom fighters is able to take down an overwhelmingly powerful enemy through the fighting human spirit.
I don't get the reference at all.
It's some shitty anime that some people like that's about giant robots fighting furries.

GaoGaiGar or something like that, I actually was told it is a kind of parody of the mecha-genre
