Disaster movies bore the poop out of me. I could barely make it through the trailer ...

heh. To each their own, there will be people who love it, some would hate it, and some would make fun out of it.

This movie was awesome!

If you enjoy mind-blasting effects with Dead Space like delirium and mediocre acting and storyline.

Still... it was a fun watch.

Obviously not an Oscar winner, we leave those to movies that provide another solution to get sick people to sleep.

I'm still of two minds whether I should go see it. One side of me wants to see how bad it is, the other doesn't like giving money for Roland to make more movies.

Sony's Roland Emmerich disaster pic \"2012\" crushed the worldwide box office, grossing an estimated $160 million at the foreign box office and an estimated $65 million domestically for a total haul of $220.

If those numbers hold, \"2012\" will have scored the 9th best global debut of all time.
FUCK. YES.

Can't wait for the sequel, 2013, coming out in 2011.
Sequel TV series.

It was an interesting movie although a bit drawn out with some parts that could have been left out.

Watching California and Las Vegas get destroyed were cool.

Wish they would have shown more parts of the world being destroyed.

Wasn't the doctor who played in the Enterprise t.v. series in this as well? I thought I recgonized him

I had absolutely zero interest in going to see this tonight, but my best friend wanted to go see it.

I was pleasantly surprised. It was genuinely entertaining from start to finish.

Don't you just loveee hollywood science? hahahahahahaha

The nutrinos the nutrinos hahahahahahaha

I just watched it here in Tianjin. The Chinese audience got a kick out of all the China references, as expected. I actually fell asleep a few times, but my girlfriend seemed to like it well enough. The first half hour of the movie is probably what started me falling asleep.
