New Picture Thread

Just got back to St. John's from Corner Brook, my hometown. Since my mother was busy at the hospital, and both my brother and my father were busy working, I stole my brother's camera and went on a walk. I've had a bit of a passing interest in photography over the last few months, so I figured I would see what I could do. I had some fun, and I think some of the pictures came out pretty well.

Here's the stream on Here's the stream on Flickr.

I want to create a dating site profile with this as the main picture.

then just wait for the chicks to come to me.

Naming a cat after a road is really tempting fate. I hope you keep her indoors, Calley.

I've had a cat hit by a car before. It's horrible. And Abbey's such a cute little kitty.

So.. you want to star in a movie with a wig on. And then watch it.

That's so narcissistic of you.
No, I want a more dapper clone with a kickasser hair style made, and for him to star in a movie. He should learn nothing in the end.

I look like an evil bobble-head, sort of. Which is a funny idea in itself. I should probably have just taken a newer picture instead of using that one, but it works.

Heh, just to be particularly silly, I'll say "new pics only via PM".

Remember when I said I was moving into a new place, that was kind of old and we're slowly working on updating it?

Well my new computer system (same one as before but new video card and overclocked CPU) decided to have some fun with an older socket set:

First there was a popping sound, which we couldn't locate right away, and when we did, a split second later a large spark shot out of it which caused the entire room to go black. I shut off the breaker and removed the surge protector when the entire plastic came with it. So I removed the entire socket today and will be replacing it tomarrow. If it fries another one, then I'm going to have the landlord re-wire the room completely. Oh and for those curious, I use the Dynex ($400,000 warranty) surge protectors. Everything that was plugged in is perfectly fine.

Looks like there was a short in the socket itself. Fixing it should be fine. Of course if the socket was defunct, then there could be something wrong in the wall. Hope it wasn't water. That's one thing I've seen do that kind of damage.

Howdy folks. Just posting an image dump from a fun little walk Darryl and I took in the local state park on the first day of spring.

Well, hello Mr. Tree. You're looking awfully dapper today, if I may say so myself.

And here we see Darryl trying in vain to [strike]run[/strike] walk away from me. I'm always looking at the back of his head. *sniff*

And I'm too slow to catch up, so I cries.

Oh wait! He's turning around!

UBER HAPPY.

Aww yeah, you know it baby.

I'm too sexy...

...for good angles? O rly?

You'sa silly boy, but I luvs you anyway. ... Mebbe.

And that's all. Huzzah.
