It's not just trophy games. I know Siren: Blood Curse doesn't work ether and it doesn't have them. Sony had to drop the price somehow early on, which is why they dumped the backwards compatible hardware. Never mind the fact that first generation Sony consoles NEVER work right anyway...Aw man... I wish I had gotten a backwards compatible version.
