It has nothing to do with that and it's that kind of comments that fanned the flames of hate. YEEEEESSSSSS! Let the hate flow!

Seriously, it's a chat room. Who cares?

I dunno about these chatrooms, Darkaudit had a shitfit over it all as if the fate of the planet depended on it. Makare1 banned me from the pvp IRC for no reason other than I was invading her "place". It's kind of pathetic and sad.

I love cliques.

I really don't understand why you two are so upset about this. It's not like either of you are bff's with any of us in the pvp chatroom, and you know it's where makare hangs out. Your personalities clash with hers, even when one of you three isn't trying to cause problems. Innocent comments are met with derision and attitude, even when the other is trying to be civil. Why make that a real time event?

This is actually a good point. The onyl reason I bumped this was to bring the regulars back in from a motnh ago before I went on that small hiatus. Which worked. Sooooo..meh.

So why did you bring up the pvp irc? What was the point of pointing a finger at us?

I would pop into a gui chat from time to time, I am just not a people person, but to go through getting a IRC setup, passwor...

I'm getting bored with the idea just trying to finish that sentence. Have fun storming the IRC kids.

 I will never understand why a forum needs a chatroom.
Without IRC, this forum would likely not even exist.

I'll always prefer IRC over site-based, I can access it anywhere even on mobile, and it's just easier to keep tabs on (set up right with notifications 'n all that).

Part of it may be nostalgia but I've been using IRC for many many years and often on multiple channels spanning several networks. Taking one channel out of the same client makes it more of a hassle, really. It's like having all your favorite TV channels on your TV except one. That just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe a better online client could fix it and successfully 'merge' the two crowds who don't want the hassle of typing in their name before logging on.

And honestly, if you don't get along with someone in the chatroom, either leave or put that person on /ignore. Same as you would on the forums, really.[/QUOTE]

Nah, it's better to get them banned for doing nothing.

But like I said, it's just sad and pathetic method.
