Yes, I write Pathfinder-compatible materials, I've been less than subtle about that. I like the Pathfinder system. There's a lot of 3rd party support for it, since it keeps the OGL, which 4E didn't.

However, more important are that a) none of the people I game with play 4E, b) I don't play MMOs and that seems to be the system 4E is adopting, and c) I like the flavor of 3.5 better. That's all. I've said before that 4E wasn't good, and that was wrong. It's just not for me. I know there's plenty of people here who enjoy it. And that's good.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly people jump to judge others with no consideration of what it is like to be that other person. This is true of almost everyone I've ever met or heard of even. It's like we're so desperate to see evil in the world, we so hunger to hold on to whatever shred of superiority that we can feel over our fellow human beings, that we lust after any opportunity to point out where they've done wrong. It's ridiculous.

I'm just thankful that I'm better than that.

After drawing naked people in my art class every other day for the last few weeks... it's hard for me to find the human form attractive. I notice every curve, every wrinkle, every blemish, and hate it for being such a pain to draw correctly.

I think that if you see a naked person of your preferred sex and your first instinct is bemoaning how difficult it is to draw, you would do well to put the pencil down for a moment ;)

Then again, I can't draw attractive women at all.

Davids right. The longer you stare at the human form, for hours and weeks on end the more monstrously ugly we are close up. Sure there's a thrill at staring at a nude body for awhile, but hour after hour, months later, and the most important thing on your mind is why her arm looks so goddamn weird in foreshortening, and why those acne scars on her butt and back look like a subway map of New York.
