This is the worst possible move he could have made. At least he'll get a decent lead-in from House of Payne. TBS is such a perfect fit.

This is a genius move by TBS. There will be SO much hype surrounding this that their ratings will go WAY up for a time. Sure, they may drop again, but Conan is pretty strong in the primary demographics and he has a slew of rabid fans who will follow him. But the first few weeks when he face-pounds Leno it'll be sweet, sweet nectar.

If you think Conan is going to get better ratings than Leno over even the first 3-months of live head to head, you're sorely mistaken.
I hate TBS. But I guess I'm glad Conan got a new show. We'll see how it goes in the fall I guess.
This isn't really a matter of opinion. Conan going to TBS is a bad fit just objectively. The show might still be good, but the network and him don't fit. And his fans never watch TBS, and the people that watch House of Payne and Lopez Tonight REALLY aren't gonna watch Conan past the first episode.
I'm with the Boner. It seems like a dead-end move for Conan (but a decent get for TBS).
And Team CoCo is gonna forget he exists on TBS so fast it'll make your head spin.
I agree with these guys, TBS seems like a really odd fit.

lol, can't wait for this thread to be bumped for about a few days after Conan's new show premiere, and then never be bumped again.
Look, I'd love for the new show to be entertaining and funny, but I don't think that's gonna make it not be a failure.

Well, Leno's ratings have dropped from last year and are still dropping. Experts predict that by this Christmas he’ll be fighting to get 4.0… this was even before Conan announced his return. I’m willing to give TBS a chance and honestly, Cable is where it’s at! I don’t care about what other people think, I’ll be watching Mondays to Thursdays, every week.
I hope he does well and I hope in 2-3 years that his old network can truly go suck a dick.
